“The product itself is fine, but the delivery was not. We chose to order from your company specifically because you advertised that we could select the delivery day, and receive an email on the morning of delivery giving a 2-hour delivery time slot. It turned out that we received neither an email or delivery on the day agreed. When we phoned you early on the specified delivery day (because we had received no email), we were told that a third party carrier was delivering the item, in which case emails are not sent, and that the item could be delivered between 8am and 6pm. However, it was not. When we phoned you on the following morning, we were told that the carrier had "run out of hours" and would be delivering it that day - which indeed it was, but we had to cancel our plans for that day in order to be in to receive it. This was very poor service, and spoils what would otherwise have been a good review.”

“Ok, if you are in need of a garden shed to store things.....avoid using sheds.co.uk......they are terrible! A inexcusable miscommunication between this company and their manufacturer Mercia Garden Products, has me waiting for a shed to be delivered.....only it didn’t turn up. I had a team ready to build the shed, but no shed to build....and no phone call to explain what had gone wrong. They pride themselves on having ‘Great Customer Service’ which is an absolute joke. Virtually impossible to get through to them on the phone...unless you ring the sales department, who of course will answer all calls. And when you get through, they do not provide much help at all. The shed was finally delivered a week late. Of course, delivery problems can occur.....but this shed was ordered AND paid for on the 8th September to be delivered 13th October.......I think that’s enough time to make sure everything is in order........AVOID BOTH COMPANIES...if you can.”

“Terrible company, staff are not helpful and very rude, shed was sent back but told I'm not getting all my money back even know there supplier was happy to collect shed and make full refund, wouldn't recommend or use again”

“Delivery is a joke! I requested either that the delivery was taken round the back of the house or made on a Saturday. Neither of these happened instead the delivery was made the day before it was scheduled and dumped in front of my garage. I’m a single lady living on my own and ended up having to unpack the pallet and move everything round to the back garden. There isn’t any instructions or any screws/fittings. Totally rubbish and extremely disappointed”

“I ordered am 8x8 Summerhouse which stated in stock with express 2-5 day delivery, however after 10 days of no communication from the company i contacted to enquire. I was informed it was ready to deliver & to contact a different number to book a suitable date. However when i did this i was informed that the item was in fact out of stock & the earliest date meant that it was a 6 week wait & not 2-5 days. I liased with customer services as website was obviously misleading and incorrect, i was offered either a quicker delivery of a lower quality summerhouse, a 2ft larger summerhouse (of which i would have to pay the difference in price) or wait & they would offer £20 as 'good will'. I explained i didn't want a lower quality item, a larger structure would not fit on the prepared base i had, but I would be willing to take this offer if they extended the base at their own cost as 'good will, or asked that they provide a smaller shed (while i wait for my original order) that i am able to store the bikes and lawnmower in, so they are not damaged in the weather, as my old summerhouse was dismantled in preparation for the advertised express delivery! I was told they are unable to offer anything except the original offers made, so i cancelled my order. Still today they are falsely advertising the availability and speedy delivery of this 8x8 Loxley Summerhouse! Would not recommend this company!”

“The delivery - 5 Stars, quality 3 stars but the reason I'm only giving it 1 star is because of the time and effort it took to put this shed together. If you are not a keen DIY'er or flat packer for the love of god don't even think of purchasing this shed. We are both very experienced in the above and it still took from 9am until well past 7pm to put this thing together, just when you thought you were coming to the end yet another packet of bolts came to light. Don't be fooled by the instruction video either, I was so exited to see "how quick it was going to go up". If you want to know how strong your marriage is give this a go by all means.”

“Delivery was fine however shed is warped and not fit for purpose the door does not fit a new door was sent but this does not resolve the issue as the shed itself is warped. We have contacted sheds.co.uk to ask for a refund and to ask them to remove the shed however we are still waiting for this to be organised. We have now been waiting 2 months. I would avoid this company and look elsewhere.”

“Im afraid I cannot rate well here, The Friday before my shed was due to be delivered customer services called apologising that the driving had been in an accident and was in hospital and could I take delivery on the Sunday. This was difficult as I am out Sundays with kids rugby. Anyway luckily the guy turned up early with no pre 2 hour warning as informed. Turns out it was the driver they said was in hospital, they had LIED! The guy was fine and turns out he had told his people he cannot do that satrday. instead of them telling the truth they made up this rubbish story and sent the same guy anyway. Very poor! Plus I ordered a window less shed, they delivered 1 with a window. Got it sorted but was a few phone calls to make it clear and happen. Sop now putting shed up 1 week later than planned. cant comment on the shed as wont know how good it is or bits missing till it goes up. Sorry cant recommend this service...”

“Wrong shed delivered, needed my wife to help offload! missing window panels, panels swapped a couple of weeks later after persistant chasing. But still no perspex for the windows. excuses and apologies are now wearing thin. I expect perspex asap and some kind of compensatory gesture.”

“I bought the Oren 6' x 4' Shiplap Modular Apex Shed. Poor instructions. Bits missing. My installer worked around it. Communication was slow. I wouldn't buy from these again. Pretty disappointed.”

“Shocking company to deal with, they take your money and then cannot delivery shed at agreed time. When you then phone them to enquire about your shed they then give you the run around . Extremely difficult to get your money back if cancel as did .”

“Very cheaply made, after a weeks delay the shed was just left at the side of my property with no phone call or even a knock at the door, also one panel was damaged and the roof capping was missing. I see why they are so cheap now.”

“The shed was poor quality and the website doesn’t warn the buyer on how flimsy it is. I had it professionally installed but it still came apart and all the joins have broken with the contents exposed to the weather. This happened at the first time we had a windy day. I’ve now had to have it strapped down.”

“Ordered easily enough but item was not delivered when it should have been wasted a whole day off. It then took 13 emails to finally sort out delivery and then find my item once it was delivered as no card was pushed through.. Overall very stressful and whilst I expected to put item together I did not expect to have to drill holes. Very disappointed with whole experience.”

“I ordered a shed which indicated a 14 - 21 day delivery. I then waited for the SMS from the delivery company. After a week I had not received the text so I contacted sheds.co.uk customer services. I was then told the shed will be another six weeks. Customer services, Natasha, was very helpful in helping me find an alternative product but to no avail. So I decided to wait. The delivery company emailed me out of the blue with only 24 hours notice to arrange delivery. At 10:20 the following day I had an email stating that the courier could not gain access. No SMS indicating a time of delivery was sent only the email stating a delivery slot of 7am until 6pm! To top it all the shed that was delivered was not the pent roof design but an apex! Whilst the buying process online is slick the delivery is not! they are at the mercy of a courier company that only offers a 11 hour delivery slot and does not send out the promised texts! Buyer beware!”
