“Little bit disappointed with the shed. Opted for a more expensive pressure treated shed. The floor panels were poorly put together so the base was slightly longer than it should be. And the window design is extremely poor. Windows wobble about and will have to be taken out and refitted with extra materials.”

“Bought an Arley 4ft Triple Tier Wooden shelves. The shelves arrived in plastic packaging but we're set so had slightly warped. None of the screw holes had been pre-drilled and the third shelf just sits on top of the other two so it's not secure. After a trip to a DIY store I now have built a secure shelving unit but if I'd seen this in a shop I wouldn't have bought it as the quality is poor.”

“A good product at a good price but what let’s them down is when they give a delivery slot between 11.15 - 1.15 and having chased them up at 1.20 and 1.40 to be told they are in Bury and your next on the list! Then turning up at 3.45, I could walk from Bury to Audenshaw in that time!!! Your only as good as your weakest link and unfortunately that’s your delivery service”

“Received metal shed in a few days. Still not managed to erect it all up. Quality is thin materials and instructions not all that clear. Did not receive an invoice either. Delivery guy was helpful.”

“This is prime example of 'Rip off Britain' !!!! Sheds co.uk sell a shed and then wash their hands of it, Another firm make and delivery it. Then it is passed on to a third outfit that travel miles at great expense to yourself (£149) days later and then you still have what must be the cheapest looking shed in the world leaning up against the garage wall with them demanding more money. MY ADVICE IS TO STEER CLEAR OF THESE PEOPLE AND BUY LOCAL.”

“I first went to order a shed online but wasn’t happy about agreeing to the extensive t&cs etc so I thought I’d order over the phone and I had a couple of queries. Despite waiting a long time there was no answer. So I ordered it online, there was some hold up with the order going through. I got this review email but there’s actually more than a 2 week waiting time for delivery, so can’t review shed yet. The plastic base and the Cuprinol paint can both be bought elsewhere cheaper. On a positive note, the sale price seemed good compared to other similar sheds.”

“Easy to purchase, Quick to deliver, but horrible after sales and installation. Phone lines never connect except if you're buying a new shed. You can never get through to the after sales team. I got installation scheduled, and no communication to confirm if the installer was coming. Got his number and he didnt come, or even call to say he couldn't make it or reschedule. And it's back to the after sales line that never rings. Just go with your local shed provider except if you plan to self-assemble.”

“The ordering process was good and very prompt delivery schedule. I received an email for delivery times by transport team email had a different product identified. I called Sheds.co but no one available, called transport who specifically confirmed that the delivery paperwork said Vermont summerhouse, but that it was the Adley Truro that had been loaded as per my order and that all was ok. On arrival wrong summerhouse has been returned”

“Very confusing set up. Bought a shed expecting a 2-hr delivery window sent to me at 7am on delivery day in order to plan ahead. I received nothing. I phoned sheds.co.uk to find out what was happening with my delivery, and they asked me to contact Mercia Garden Products, so I did and I was told that they had sub-contracted the delivery and he didn't know he was supposed to give me a slot. Despite being told twice by Mercia that they would contact the driver and call me back with an ETA for him, saying he would definitely be there before noon, but I didn't hear back. He arrived around 1pm with little warning, and dropped the shed panels off so they fell over and caused damage. Regarding the damage I phoned Sheds.co.uk, by their line was down, so I phoned their owners Sixty Stores Ltd, whose line was also down, and it was very hard to get hold of the right person. Eventually I spoke to a nice person - Anne, who has told me that they will provide a partial refund if we provide receipts relating to fixing the damage. I'll be doing it myself as I can't wait to receive a replacement part, so I don't know where I stand. Finally, I bought it with installation, and the installation is 2-3 weeks after delivery, which is absurd. So I cancelled that via Anne and was thankful. She couldn't confirm that it had been cancelled immediately as she'd have to contact another firm they subcontract to. I feel this company could benefit from consolidating customer services, and systems. It has been a very confusing process and I'd be looking to purchase from another company in the future.”

“Ordered a garden sofa cover online, received a confirmation but no idea of how long it would take for despatch and delivery. After a few days of not hearing anything, called them only to be told the item was out of stock and could be a few weeks until they get any more. Considering they had my money I was amazed no one had contacted me to tell me this was the case. There was nothing on the website when I ordered about it being out of stock. Not happy”

“The web site was good and easy to use and the confirmation after the purchase was made promptly received. The delivery of the shed arrived early on the expected date with no issues. However the instructions supplied with the shed were poor as during the build up the shed had to be taken back down as it did not compute with the instructions. Also the wood was of a minimum standard and flimsy so additional lining was required inside and on the floor to stabilise and secure the shed.”

“It was easy to order but the delivery was something else. The person delivering the shed was on his own and he asked me to help him offload the shed I have bad back had to split the package and help delivery driver unload the various items I'm not very happy with the service.”

“The shed I purchased appears to meet the criteria I am looking for. However, the proof is in the pudding when I visually see the shed. I have rated I Sheds.co.uk customer services as POOR. I have telephoned customer services on 5 occasions over a period of 3 days since purchasing the shed. On each occasion no-one answered the telephone. On one call the automated message machine informed me I WAS NUMBER ONE IN THE QUEUE and promptly cut me off. In my opinion Sheds.co.uk customer services is abysmally and deplorably POOR. I am still awaiting my purchase!!”

“The shed assembled OK roof, very flimsy, Windows laughable, floor, two pallets put together, you can drive a bus through the planking apart from the knots falling out. Battening supplied was warped badly had to buy more of, disposed of what was delivered. The shed measurements were 7ft 9"x5ft9" not 8ftx6ft as advertised???All in all I got what I paid for a cheapo shed, I cannot recommend this type of shed from this company. Never buy online for this type of product.”

“So far, no delivery (although due today), and also problems with installation dates. Trying to get in touch by phone was virtually impossible, and when I did manage to speak to one person, he was clearly not interested in being helpful, and implied it was better to order online. Based on his bad attitude I did just that. Then came confusion over the installation because of the different companies involved. Some explanation ahead of time would have been helpful. I'm now wondering if the installation is going to be any better than the service so far. I don't like leaving bad reviews, but this experience has not been a good one.”

“I guess you get what you pay for. The structure was very weak, some of slatted sides warped. The roofing felt was like paper and ripped in first winter wind and had to replace; but had such a headache getting it delivered( they use a 3rd party) I was tired so kept it as after all it was erected.”

“Good choice, easy to order. Expected delivery was between 2 and 5 days it said, perfect to fit with my holidays. It now has been 12 days, my holidays are over and I just got informed that the delivery today has been postponed to tomorrow. So one day I had to take off wasted and have to take another day off tomorrow hoping it won't be postponed again.”
