“Do Not Use This Company. Waited in for the delivery on the day it had been requested and it didn’t turn up. Called the following day and was promised it would be delivered in the morning - still didn’t turn up. Telephoned numerous times - got cut off twice. Eventually spoke to someone who said they had tried to deliver but couldn’t gain access, which is untrue as there are no access restrictions to my road, regardless of the size of the delivery lorry. The company are now unwilling to cancel the order for me without me sending a cancellation request in writing. They won’t cancel it, but they can’t deliver it either. Appalling customer service.”

“Nice website and easy to order from. Eventually got my delivery date and an early morning delivery. On the day I checked the tracking link and delivery moved to late morning. Checked again and moved to mid-afternoon. Eventually delivery turned up at nearly 6 pm. At least the driver was pleasant enough. I ordered the 4' by 12' wide shed with no windows. I only received two correct floor panels along with a third panel that was much larger than the other two. So this needed cut down to size. The floor material is actually far too thin and flimsy and buckles and bends under my massive 10 stone weight :/ I had to buy 2 sheets of OSB 18mm to make the floor actually useable. The door didn't fit into the door panel opening and also needed to be trimmed to actually fit in place. The hinges are absolutely awful and the hinge screws are laughable. I will need to buy some decent hinges and bolts to secure the door. As it stands, my 4-year-old could rip off the door never mind a shed thief. The lock for the door is rubbish and will also need replacing. If I drew a lock on with crayon it would offer similar levels of security as the provided lock. The screw pack only supplied a handful of 50mm wood screws. Unless you are only supposed to use a single screw to attach each side section together. Had to buy a box of screws to even be able to continue building it. The shed would be sturdy enough as a 4'x4' of maybe a 4'x6' but with 12' sides it is far too flimsy. A decent shove in the correct place and it would fall apart. The roof is as great as the rest of the build. I will be replacing that as well at some point. The roofing felt was ok and fitted no problem. They provide strips of wood to cover the joins. Some of these were buckled out of shape. I was one short and need a replacement. They fitted ok on the back of the shed (pent roof) but they are short on the high side and you need to join 2 bits together. The facia boards were buckled out of shape. So another trip to the timber mill will be needed to get bits to replace all these parts. The painted finish is terrible. All patchy, paint missing in places on both sides of single panels and planks, and on other parts, it is splashy as if someone has just launched a paint tin. I am going to paint it a different colour now anyway but it still isn't acceptable. So good points? Easy to order. Quick delivery.”

“All the above .I do not know where to start, one star is too much ! We purchased a shed costing £1019 in June of this year. We had a firm erect it and they immediately said it was poor quality for what we had paid. After it was erected we got in touch with Sheds.co. and complained about all the things that was wrong with it. The doors do not fit, there is a half inch gap above both doors and down each side and they are very flimsy, the locks are rubbish. We have 15 plus knot holes, we were told wood does have knots, as if we were stupid, but you do not expect them to have come out before delivery and be able to see daylight through them all. You can see daylight between each panel, the windows if you can call them that are like toffee paper and there is nothing to fit them into and they blew out the first evening. We have been on to the Company many many times since June and still have no satisfaction. We have sent pictures but still nothing. We have asked for a Representative to call and look at the shed, but nothing. The problem still goes on........my advice do not buy from SHEDS.C0. We feel we have been robbed. Not only did we have to pay £1019 for the shed but also had to pay £550 to have the old one taken down and this one erected - The company have never tried to help us in any way , just taken our money and given us very shoddy goods which are not fit for purpose.”

“What went wrong? Haha! What went right? Nothing much. Base was delivered a month before the shed, so I had to store it. Shed arrived broken and took 5 hours to build and mend. It did not fit together properly and was also very poorly manufactured so additional work had to be done to it to make it fit. I contacted customer service about the damage and managed to get a small refund to compensate for the damage & extra work to fix it. When we started the build, it also became clear we did not need the pro-base as we were erecting the shed on a slabbed area. The description of the product when I bought it was that it was absolutely essential, but did not state what type of ground it was for and that it was unsuitable for a patio. Now they won’t allow me to return it, even though it is in perfect condition, so have completely wasted £56. This is even more disappointing because last time I bought something from same company they could not be more helpful. I am never buying from this site again and will never recommend. In fact I will let all my friends know to steer clear. The only saving grace is that the shed looks good, but only because of the amazing person who helped me build it.”

“Not a great experience I’m afraid to say. The delivery company said they would deliver on a day between 8:00-18:00. Not only did they not show after waiting for the whole day, but there was also no communication. Turned up the day later. Then unpacking..most of the screws were missing and the framework was bent. the shed itself was of very poor quality. it’s not worth the bother.”

“Double doors flimsy with just 3 horizontal very insufficient stiffeners behind, (no up/down outer side or diagonal stiffeners as is the norm) the doors bow out in the centre like a banana, a 10 year old could break in by flexing the doors open, doors wouldn’t fit had to trim the uneven tops to make true. The window 2mm thick plastic is ridiculously thin may aswell use cling film, shiplap not overlapped in places, gappy, the pathetic thin hinges do not fit flat on top of angled shiplap without making spacers, generally thin flimsy roof, floor and structure made from skinny timber. Black Screw heads too small for toggle latches, they fall through! The other screws soft and snap too easily or round off, will have to strengthen floor, roof and doors to have any chance of lasting a few years. Apart from that its fine.”

“I have been asked to review this company but have not yet received my shed after a month of waiting. The delivery company used is very poor. I waited in all day on the day they said it would be delivered but nothing was received. I am still waiting for an update after 3 days.”

“Very disappointed with the quality of the build. Had to delay building the summer house by two months due to damaged panel and replacement panel also being damaged. Had to replace the veranda flooring boards as they were too thin and one actually broke when stood on.”

“Really disgusted with these charlotons!. I ordered an 8 ft by 4 foot shed, pais for an 8ft x 4ft base laying... What do you get for your money?.... It ain't an 8x4 shed!.... They deceptively measure it by the size of the roof which overhangs 6 inches... That's just dishonest and it's too small for what I bought it for!........ Really disappointed, total waste of money!!.... Be honest and state the CORRECT size!!!”

“Shed turned up on time , very poor quality lots of knots holes in shed where knots had fallen out of the wood before delivery , very large gap between doors both doors together are 22 mm smaller than the gap they are supposed to fill. Complaint passed straight through to the manufacturer who just said I can fill the knot holes with wood filler, so why did they not do this before delivery. This is 10 mm holes in more than one panel. Gap in doors is normal are was told to fit an extra piece of wood to a door to cover , none of which is in the barely adequate instructions. Will never buy another shed from here as the quality is so low for their shed build with “ superior materials” , laughable is the only word for it”

“I bought this shed as the lead times were short. I also hired a carpenter to remove the old shed and re position this one. He thought the old shed was far superior even though it was 10-12 years old and half the cost as the new shed was pretty much half the section sizes of the old one with the main frame being weak due to its cross sectional size. I spent £180.00 upgrading the floor as it wouldn't take any weight, I have to by new windows as the micro thin clear plastic is next to useless. The expensive edpm roof kit was trashed so I had to buy another adhesive (£20.00 inc delivery)..... This is a toy imho so I'll stop there. This is profit before quality and I would never ever consider a shed from this company again especially as the overall cost wasn't cheap either. (Yes, I know timber has increased in price but this isn't an argument).”

“Ordered two sheds and two bases nearly a month ago. The bases arrived straightaway. Contacted the company to be advised that the sheds would come 14-28 days later and that we should put the bases down ready. Have chased the sheds today to be advised that they are out of stock and they don't know when they will be available again. Have therefore cancelled the order and asked for the bases to be collected. Was told that as we have used it we cannot return them and the delivery charge of £30 was for the bases not the sheds. Absolutely terrible customer service.”
