“We didn’t have any positive experience. Avoid at all costs. Detailed measurements were taken at the end of the cancellation period, significant delays in delivering the materials, all products were full of dents, scratches, pure quality and bad customer service. You pay a fortune and is not what you see in the pictures or showroom. They give big promises and the quality and service is the worst. Avoid at all costs and don’t fall into the trap. Not sure how this company is still open looking at what they deliver. I wish we could cancel.”

“We asked Sharps to design a desk / bookshelf unit. We were pleased with the design and felt although the cost was more than we expected, if you want quality you have to pay for it. The fitters did a great job however within two years the front edge of the desk started to wear away exposing chip board underneath. As there was a 12 year warranty we felt reassured that Sharps would deal with it so we contacted them and sent photos when these were requested. We were then stunned when Sharps stated this was normal wear and tear and not covered by the warranty. We have bought many pieces of furniture over the years but have never had the edging on the side of desk or table wear away like this and so felt the material used could not fit have been for purpose, especially as the desk only gets used occasionally. Sharps told us if we wanted a better quality desktop we would have to pay for it but after further conversation they agreed to supply a replacement worktop if we paid for the labour. We felt that if ‘fit for purpose’ materials had been used in the first place, the repair would not have been needed so having already paid Sharps a substantial amount for the unit we decided to decline the offer rather than pay them more money. The end result is we have an unsightly desktop unit with all the edging worn away along the front. There are also some other issues with the unit such as the plastic imitation wood material covering the recess draw lifting away and some of the shelves are starting to bow so all in all we are very disappointed and won’t be buying furniture again from Sharps.”

“Very bad experience wouldn’t recommend them at all. Extremely poor quality. Materials were scratched, dented and destroyed before fitted. Even the fitter said he couldn’t guarantee that there wouldn’t be imperfections. We paid top price and the quality is the worst. Also materials arrived 4 hours later than expected and the end of the cancellation period matched the day that the guy for the detailed measurements arrived so we couldn’t cancel anything.”

“All aspects of my dealings with Sharps was excellent from first meeting for discussion. Very helpful throughout even though when I changed my plan and design. Workman clean and considerate. My only regret was that the rails in the wardrobe were fitted without being asked about height. It had been assured by Rep that I would be consulted before fitting. Over all I am pleased with my fitted wardrobe and would recommend your firm.”

“They come to your place and they show you a lot of ideas, you send feedback all fine, once you receive the contract you remark and make everything clear again. When the peace is coming and mounted you realize that it was not what you were looking at, and to do so they ask for extra money. I will never use them again, by the way, they have the most unfriendly customer service I have never encountered - NEVER AGAIN”

“Dishonest pricing and sales patter. They came round to quote for office furniture nothing fancy just a basic work top space with 3 draws either side The silly pricing begins of over 8k- then it's 50% off and then wow another 20% and cap it all off more discretionary discount on top to £2867 At this point i knew the entire proceedure and sale patter is dishonest and sent the salesman on his way. When they're dishonest wit h pricing I can read them like a book and would never buy from them. If only they came in with honest prices they would get the order.”

“Excellent craftsmanship, clear communication from start to finish and couldn’t fault the service at all. Jon who fitted the furniture in four rooms was professional and did an amazing job in some very awkward shaped rooms and alcoves. Would definitely recommend and have done already.”

“The wardrobe is great and blends into the room perfectly. It is a very good design and it doesn't dominate the bedroom and there is plenty of storage space. High end quality fittings and finish with soft closing doors. I am a very satisfied customer and would highly recommend Sharps for their design and expert assembly and fitting.”
