“I like the shakes, but it is very frustrating how frequently nearly all of them are out of stock. I don't understand what the problem is, and I have not seen any explanation on their site or blog, or any indications of when the problem might improve.”

Hi William, Thank you for your feedback and for being a valued customer. We're very sorry for the inconvenience caused by some products being temporarily unavailable. We've experienced exceptionally high demand, combined with a delay to one of our inbound shipments while it cleared customs, which unfortunately affected availability of several popular products. The good news is that this has now been resolved and stock levels are returning to normal. “The product itself is very bland and lacking in flavour or taste. It did not keep me full. I was hungry after two hours. I suppose that as a weight loss product it works but in my opinion it is not good value for money when it leaves me with a ravenous hungry and growling belly.”

“Shake that weight are a great replacement for other outliers who've closed, cannot offer the same dietary requirements or need that 'plan' and guidance support 🙏🏽 They also offer excellent next day postal service and great safe packaging. However the taste and flavour was not for me... I went for vegan shakes (I know 😢🥺😮‍💨) which are not good... They're forever bitty, granular and lack flavour despite shaking or blending. A shames as I wanted these to be a breakfast replacement of a morning for a bariatrics patient hoping to top up first meal of the day. I bet the normal made with milk shakes are awesome and do the trick! But these IMO were not good”

“I have used shake the weight shakes for the last week, I have had nothing else but these and I have actually put weight on……. I appreciate the experience is different for everyone but it does not appear to be helping me.”

“Product review: Disappointing quality. I wanted to love the lemon and white chocolate bars but unfortunately they taste vile, almost of soap, and are very inferior to the Cambridge ones. The chocolate coconut bar was ok, you could taste coconut. The crisps are extremely salty. I question the preponderance of high reviews for these products posted on the website.”

“My last order didn't have all the shakes in that I had ordered? There where four i didn't order and don't like yogurt two Musli and one pancake , I only like the shakes smoothie if this happens again I won't be ordering anything else, as I don't like paying for things I don't like”

“First time trying these. The meals in pouches are sloppy. They look mire like a chunky soup in a tin with less taste. Beef had a lot of fat/gristle. Other meals dont taste nice. The bars are a weird tasting chewy "chocolate". Soups are powdery and not creamy. Expensive when you can buy nutritional meals that taste good from other companies AND still lose the weight. WORST i have ever tried”

“I found the ordering process very frustrating and unnecessarily complicated. The grouped options are too many but none actually hit the mark for me. Customising my order, and selecting items individually was quite costly and it took me two days od repeated attempts because items kept disappearing from my basket, forcing me to start over. Sometimes products wouldn’t even show in the basket, with no clear explanation why. I was desperate for products otherwise I would have given up. I did give up so many times hence 2 days. Delivery is advertised as free, but in reality, the “free” option still takes 3–4 days, so you end up paying if you want a reasonable delivery speed. I also had a missing item in my order, and despite reporting it, on the day of delivery 1 week ago, I’ve had no response so far. Overall, the lack of a smooth ordering system, missing order on first purchase and app weight log not working has left me disappointed. That said, some of the products I have tried so far are nice. However, the Banana shake from Cambridge diet was my fav so I bought a lot with STW thinking it would be same. It is not. I didn’t like it at all.”

“So far I have had 1 pea soup, ok but can’t imagine using these shakes for 8 weeks. I’ve also had 1 strawberry shake which I found unpleasantly sweet and very chemical tasting. Don’t think this for me. The peanut chocolate bars are quite pleasant but a whole one is too much. I shall use them cut up for snacking.”

“In an attempt to reduce my weight I was recently told about patches called “ Kind Patches “ so I got some and they worked well, so to then see that the company I buy the rest of my slimming stuff from was starting some as well, and for slightly less was even more of a bonus. Therefore when I was putting in my latest order I added a pack to my basket, however I wish I had not bothered. The patches come off when I sweat, leave a horrible sticky residue on my skin, which took 3 showers to get off, and all of these issues to save £2 - As I have these now I will try to continue with them, but as the weather is getting hotter at mo, thus more sweating, I will be reverting back to KIND patch’s. I would DEFO NOT RECOMMEND SHAKE WEIGHT patches. ( that said - I do love and recommend all the food/bar and shake products )”

“I really give poor reviews very reluctantly, but to be honest sometimes it’s more constructive than not giving a review at all, which is the alternative. So why only 2 stars:the first packet I opened; a beef casserole with sweet potatoes etc had two tiny pieces of beef, each smaller than an OXO cube with a large lump of rubbery gristle/ cartilage and about half a small teacup of stew. To be fair I contacted them and sent them a pic showing all the above with a ruler proving that was I said was accurate and they refunded £4.25. The second packet I opened was, I think a chicken curry with brown rice. It had one piece of chicken and the rice did not resemble any brown rice I’ve ever seen but looked identical to the long grained white rice I added because the portion in the packet was again about a half to two thirds the size of a small teacup. I don’t know if these meals are meant to be as small as they are and neither of the two I’ve eaten have had much flavour. Whoever is producing them for the company is working at the cheapest end of the market…..which is a shame cos the folk I’ve been in contact with at Shake That Weight seem a really nice bunch. But I can’t give more than 2 Stars.”

“I bought 4 trial products. The vanilla milkshake was okay as was the porridge although bland tasting. The chocolate bar and caramel bar were really awful, artificial tasting and dry in texture. I would not purchase more or recommend to others.”
