“I would recommend that the cutting kit come with the disc spinner in order to get a clean flat finish. I feel like I would have given it a five star if this was included! Otherwise the shipping, service and product is pretty good”

“This tidied up my power tools considerably. Delivery was excellent, but I think the price is rather high. After watching excellent videos of the cutting methods, I would warn that it is not as easy as it looks. Consequently mine doo not look as professional as the video examples.”

“I was really happy with the product I recieved, and was really happy to recieve a free cutting kit. However, I must mention that when ordering many different custom sizes, of different thicknesses, the website really struggled and my basket kept glitching, in every web brower I tried. Having said this, I am really pleased with the foam, it is a great product.”

“Customer service very good! Price very reasonable! Delivery leaves much to be desired! The delivery firm, delivered to the wrong address, but I had to work out where it had gone! Delivery customer service not 100% helpful! I did not require r & r, as the goods were perfect as expected.”

“Ok, so this is a great product that looks the part when finished. I would say however, it akes a bit of practise working with the cutting to obtain the best resuls. Watch the YouTube vids by the manufacturer, and get a few basic tools for cutting - get a scalpel. a craft knife isnt good enough - I tried! Another useful tool is the spinning cutters for a drill - they work well. My first set arrived damaged in the post and when I advised Shadowfoam, they sent me out a replacement set FOC which was nice (Shadowfoam - a thin Jiffy bag is insufficient to protect from damage by the postie!).”

“Great product, wish I had bought the smoothing out tool. Youtube videos are really helpful for ideas. Would be perfect it it had a hard plastic bottom for my tool box trays.”

“I recieved the starter pack, which was on offer at a very reasonable price, I want to organise my tool box, so I had a go. I didn't get the depth cut very straight so this put me on the back foot a bit. I carried on and was quite pleased with the first attempt. I can do better and it is quite difficult to do the job demonstrated by jonathan on youtube. Overall pleased and I will carry on having a go.”

“I overall thought that shadow foam was a good idea and I personally found it really good for organising all my tools the only disadvantage is that it is quite difficult to neatly peel away the foam and hurts your fingers”

“Très bien mais il manque une colle en aérosol Spécial PE , pour coller en superposition 2 mousses ensembles. Very good but missing aerosol glue Special PE, to stick on top of each other 2 foams sets”

“I have made three spanner trays for my Metric, AF and Whitworth sets, works very nicely for the outlines a bit trickier to get the depth flat. This will come with practice I am sure.”

“The foam itself is great. Not too easy to cut straight, but thats mostly my lack of experience. The pro kit knife i'm not too happy about. The blade is very loose.”

“Great. Easy to cut, but I found it a bit more difficult to peel back the layers as shown in the video. Managed it eventually using the scalpel. Overall great.”

“The product seems decent enough, however I had an issue with what I consider to be the most important/dangerous part of the kit which is the scalpel. Out of the box I was unable to insert a blade. I was indeed following the instructional video by grasping the blade just above the slot with the forceps and slide it on. I found that one of the slots had some metal material presumably left from the machining process. After extracting the shavings, I was able to get the blade on with some difficulty. I burnished the slots a bit more and the blade goes on a little easier. It appears to be usable as is now, and I expect the hardened steel blades will continue to smooth the surface as time goes on. I almost took two stars because of the dangerous nature of this tool, but the company is SUPER responsive and seems to care about the quality of their product, so I’m sure they’ll take this seriously.”

“I have done x2 milwaukee pack out boxes look very nice now they are done. Its just a little more difficult than i expected to peel the layers. Thought they would separate more easily. Overall very pleased with the results.”
