Hi, Thankyou for taking the time to leave this review. We can see the scents you ordered such as Blue Fresh and Spring Awakening are ones which constantly get great reviews on how strong and long lasting they are. I have put some information below which will help you achieve the same results as so many others. You've read our 5* reviews & want to acheive the same results as hundreds of our customers, by following the guidelines we have set out below we can help you acheive the same results. Type of Wax Warmer being used: There are a wide range of wax burners on the market today, all with different price tags & size variations, this can be very confusing & will all too often result in the wrong melt set up being purchased. Electric Burners Electric burnes come with different heat settings & wattages, we would always advise a 40w burner to achieve the best scent throw, with higher wattages you will initially notice a strong intense scent however this will fade quickly as the wax will become too hot causing the fragrance to disperese very quickly, resulting in you needing to change your wax more often, with a lower setting the scent throw will not be as intense but you will achieve a longer continuous scent throw, this may be your prefered choice of set up if you prefer your scent throw to be more subtle or if you are melting in smaller rooms or enclosed spaces. Tea Light Burners Tea light burners are an excellent choice for consumers who like a strong scent throw however the burn time will be greatly reduced in comparison to an electric burner as tea light burners do become very hot. We would always advise for this type of burner to use a 4 hour tealight, you will see 8 hour versions available to buy however these can be very dangerous & potentially can create a fire hazard in your home, they will also burn the fragrance oil from the wax too quick leaving you with just hot wax in the dish, your burner should also have a clearence of at least 10cm between the top of the flame & the burner dish. Tea light burners should always be used with caution, remember you are using a naked flame in your home. Setting Up Your Burner In Your Chosen Room After you have purchased your burner we know you will be excited to start melting, it is however important to consider where it is to be used in the home & if more than one burner will be required, large open plan rooms may need more than one burner, burners should be positioned away from widows & open draughts, Ideally your burner should be postioned centrally within your room to give an even scent throw & allow the fragrance to flow around the room, avoid placing too low down, high up or where there is a cover over it, ie bookshelves. How often should you change your melts Your melts can be used until the scent has completely faded, we have tested all of our melt variations before they have been made available to the public, the usage times we acheived during our test period is given on all our product pages, remember these times are only a guidance & all the factors we have mentiond in this article should be considered when looking at the lonevity of your melts. When changing your wax it is also a good time to inspect your burner, check your burner for small cracks in the dish which can sometimes appear over a period time, your burner should be cleaned on a regular basis as soot can collect on the underside of the dish, ensure your burner is free from any cleaning residue & is dry before its next use. Never add new wax to old wax as this will weaken the scent throw you will achieve. I want my melts to last longer By following the guidelines set out above this will help you acheive the optimum results from our wax. Other Factors: * All scents contain, top notes, middle notes & base notes, these notes differ in different scent types hence why you will find some of our scents "last" longer than others, these notes are also a contributing factor why scent can appear to change on subsequent burns. * Try out different scents over time we can become "nose blind" & stop smelling the scent you love & use all the time. * It is now a known fact that a lot of people will have now contracted Covid without being aware, one of the side effects from this disease is a loss of smell, please also bare this in mind if you are having problems with your sense of smell. * Lastly, all too often it easy to blame the product when we are not happy with the results we acheive from it, we are confident that with the stringent processes we follow in the making of our products, the high quality ingrediants that we use, any scent issues with our products will be a result from the set up & environment they are being used in, for this reason we are always available to offer all our customers help & guidance should any issues occur when using our products, simply email us at: support@scentsatno3.co.uk A member of staff will be happy to help & support you.

The melts arrived quickly & the bags were lovely but unfortunately out of the 20 scents I received I only liked 5 or 6. I wouldn't order again.

*****UPDATE**** Was charged delivery, although had spent over the minimum, sent two emails regarding this, but no reply, unfortunate as I am a regular customer Once brought to their attention, I was refunded the error postage cost I have been using Scents at No3 for a while and love their products, the smells are brilliant, and have never had a problem before Would recommend

I can see that shipping was selected at checkout instead of the free shipping option hence why the charge was applied. I have arranged straight away for the shipping to be refunded back to you. We have a great team who are always happy to assist our customers with any issues they may have, in the first instance we would always advise you check your Royal Mail tracking for updates regarding deliveries from us, where deliveries have failed or been delayed it is normally due to the address being entered incorrectly at the time of purchase.

So that we can try and help with any issues you are experiencing, we would always hope for our customers to contact us first to give us the opportunity to try and help before feeling the need to leave us a negative review, there are many factors to consider when melting wax which can effect the throw and longevity from the product, the most important thing is to have the correct melt set up, this will then give the same results as hundreds of other customers who have used the same products and left amazing reviews for us, more helpful information can be found on our website.

We are sorry our products did not meet your expectations, however we are confused as all our bars come with a sprinkling of glitter therefore we are unsure over “no sparkle”, we provide a lot of information on our website regarding scent throw which you may find useful for future reference, thank you for trying us.

I was looking forward to these filling the house with lovely perfume but can hardly smell it at all. I am using a single burner with a tea light. Am I doing something wrong.

We are sorry to hear you are experiencing problems with the scent throw from our wax, it is always best in the first instance to message us direct to allow us the chance to help with any issues you may have, our staff are always happy to help so that you can achieve the same results as other customers, if you are using a tea light burner we would always advise a good quality tea light & a burner with at least a 10cm clearance between the flame & dish, larger tea lights & smaller burners will burn the fragrance oil off too quick leaving you with little to no fragrance, to fill your home you may require more than one burner it really does depend on the size of your house as to how many burners & how much wax you should use, larger open plan homes will require more than one burner, we hope this helps, there are also blogs available on our website with advise regarding scent throw, thank you for choosing us & taking the time to leave a review

Was excited about receiving these melts, but very disappointed in some of the smells, some having quite a strong chemical smell and also the bars that are 2 different colours just fall apart. Shame.

Initially I thought the scents were strong but only after 10mins it's pretty much gone. Disappointed as I love the scents and I bought quite a few, but I don't think I'll be purchasing again as I want longevity.

Hi Donna, we are sorry to hear you have experienced issues with our wax, it is always best to contact us direct if you experience any issues to give us chance to try and help, it would be strange for the scent to only last 10 minutes as all our wax is throughly tested by ourselves before going on sale, we also receive feedback daily on how strong & long lasting our scents are, for you to achieve these results it could be your melt set up that has caused the wax not to perform for you to achieve optimum results, if using a t light burner we would advise a good quality 4 hour t light with a clearance of at least 10cm between the flame and dish, longer lasting t lights and small burners cause the scent to burn off too quick leaving you just burning unscented wax, if using an electric warmer we advise at least a 40w bulb anything less will result in the wax not getting hot enough to fully release the scent, we hope this helps resolve your issues so you can achieve similar results as others.
