“Delivery was quick and well packaged. These wide fit boots fit very well and are comfortable. I often have to buy half a size bigger than needed to get shoes or boots to fit my wide feet even when they're supposed to be wider. The good news is that Sargasso and Grey understand feet bunions and shoes. Just because our feet might be wide with bunions doesn't mean we want to wear unattractive, uncomfortable footwear. Thank you for beautiful, good fitting, attractive footwear.”

“Excellent service. Had to return for a different size. This was dealt with quickly and alternative size sent, as well as refund for another pair of shoes. Returns process was extremely easy for an elderly person who struggles with technology! So pleased with shoes. These are the first pair of evening shoes I have had because of the wider fitting needed. They are comfortable and look good for my Cruise.”

“Krista Sandals they are really nice BUT rubbed my big toe raw from where the two pieces of leather crossed over. Expensive mistake at 285.00 cannot return once worn.”

“Brilliant service earlier this year. Had tried numerous stores and online sites to find flat navy shoes for my sons wedding. The situation was complicated by my large,wide feet. Really great service by email and phone as had to return a size ands size I wanted out of stock. All ran smoothly when new stock in.Sargasso and Grey definitely my go to place for shoes. Please get some plain white trainers in your stock soon.”

“Good looking shoes but … the most uncomfortable I’ve ever encountered , unfortunately I had to wear them to find this out . They cut across the bone on the large toe thereby almost crippling me . I had to tap more than three stars to be able to write this . disappointing I’ve shoes that are unwearable and I’ve lost money that I can ill afford .”

We note you have ordered shoes from us before, so it is a shame this style didn't work for you. Given they are made of soft leather, they will certainly give with wear. To speed up this process, you may want to take them to a cobbler to get the problem area professionally stretched. If you reach out to us, we would be happy to arrange this for you. Regarding the inability to leave the required number of stars relating to your experience, this is an independent third-party platform so anyone is welcome to leave an honest opinion and rate their experience as they see fit (using 1- 5 stars). We just hope if customers have issues with the shoes, they reach out to us first so that we can try and find a resolution.

“Beautiful shoes that actually fit my very very wide feet. All my life I have worn shoes that hurt not any more. I can now walk in comfort and look fashionable. Yes they are expensive but the quality is superb and I would rather have one pair of Sargasso than three or four pairs of cheaper brands. Thank you Katie.”

“I ordered three pairs of green shoes to wear at my daughter’s wedding. They were all beautiful, fitted perfectly and are so comfortable. Sadly I have to return two pairs! I had previously ordered four pairs from another well known company that professes to produce comfortable shoes for women that have wide feet but all four pairs were really uncomfortable and nipped across my toes. I know where I will buy my next pair of shoes from! Thank you.”

“The S&G customer service is excellent. Delivery fairly prompt in good, minimal packaging. Returns easy. Refunds also fairly prompt. Price a bit expensive, but the goods are well worth it.. the shoes are absolutely lovely! Smart styles, beautifully made, wide and extra wide available for those of us with dreadful feet.. what a great company!”
