“I would like the Santa letter to be amended from ‘Mummy and Daddy’, and ‘Friend’, leaving the option open for anybody to send the letter. I am a godmother, and every year I have organised the letter, no input from parents, but the letter always states Mummy and Daddy and friend. I come under Friend, but I am not the friend; I want to be recognised as who I am, the godmother. There must be scores of relatives who would like to participate, but don’t get any mention. It should be opened up to include them. I also think the wording is a little too ‘grown up’ for younger children: it; may be a little less formal.”
