“Its tough to obtain the accreditation as it should be, a lot of paperwork, process etc required, however the process was very good, very supportive and has helped move our business forward.”

“The accreditation process was long and thorough but necessary to ensure compliance with all aspects of health and safety. We had support during the process and felt that SafeContractor staff were approachable and helpful.”

Hello, thank you for your review, congratulations on becoming accredited! Our response times in Safecontractor are dependant on the package that you choose to select. I can see that you have chosen a standard package, on which you receive initial contact within 20 working days. The time taken to achieve accreditation will be dependant on the information provided and whether any further documentation is required. We have several packages available dependant on the support that you require and the speed of response that you wish to receive. “All went smoothly, prompt reply’s to all submissions. All staff very helpful with IT systems operating efficiently. In short this experience was far superior to a previous experience with Construction Line.”

“This has not been a happy experience for us we had quite a few emails back and forward to the team. We then were booked on a training session but the lady was ill but no further contact to rearrange. Finally Jonathan Howe contacted us to offer practical help which meant we could quickly move to accreditation status - Thank you Jonathan. Luke Washington also took time to try and help however this was more from a sales perspective however the contact was appreciated.”

“Every year we are asked to provide more information than the year before. Sometimes we are asked to provide information that we established the year before we are not required to produce. Eg. We are not part of the Construction Industry Scheme but every year we are asked to provide information as if we were. There should be some way of saying that our basic work has not changed. We have been members for well over 10 years and the system has improved in this time eg. you can log onto the portal and upload information before the accreditation is due. But quite honestly I dread doing it every year as I never know what hoop I will have to jump through. We are a tiny company of just 4 people this should be taken into account when asking for information as our training and practices are a lot different to a big company.”

Our accreditation is based upon the the latest SSIP core criteria and so any change in the information requested will usually be linked to this core criteria. The questions that you are asked are based upon the work categories that you select when setting up the questionnaire.
