“I think from start to finish the accreditation process was a good experience. I found that there was a lot of support and guidance throughout the whole onboarding and I was pleased with the outcome. Even though my paperwork was slightly lacking (in a couple of cases) guidance was there to advise me on how I could bring it back up to speed.”

“I was impressed by the enthusiasm of the salesman on the original call, to the point that I signed up. However, from there the communications went a bit quiet. I had to chase the progress of my application and some months later I got another sales call trying to upsell me H&S support. I said well, before I even consider another purchase, you had better sort out my outstanding application!!! He made some calls, and I received my accreditation a few days later. The team were helpful throughout, just clearly very busy and not enough staff. I would use them again but be more forceful with timelines.”

“With the help of our external H&S consultant we applied for renewal. The whole process however took much too long. To speed up the process we paid an extra £ 132.00, only to receive another list of questions which in our view could have been communicated sooner. Renewing the certificate has become over-bureaucratic and expensive. We therefore shall not be renewing our membership in July 2023. Hans J J Rip”

Our standard audit time taken from all documents being submitted is 4 weeks for an auditor to complete your h&s assessment. To make the process faster next year, we recommend updating your documents throughout the year via our online portal, ready for when the questionnaire can be submitted 30 days before expiry. “The process for me has taken a lot of time, I believe that I received an email on 1st April to say to update the online information. Which I submitted on the 14th April (expiry was the 15th April), to THEN be told it would take 20-24 days to review! Then someone 'reviewed' the submission. I received feedback - some of which was incorrect. When it actually was seen to be approved that part was quick. But it has now overall (and I know I didn't reply as quickly as I could!) taken 2 months to be accredited. And during that time I have received 3 emails asking for payment for the renewal. When the renewal is 31st July! We are still in June!”

“Slow, unprofessional, not delivering on promises, trying to impose penalties contrary to agreed terms and conditions. Stubborn team member refusing to accept mistakes that were made by him and his colleagues. Wasting lots of my time having to challenge what was eventually accepted as their poor service. Only scored one out of five because there isn't a zero. Terrible customer service for an organisation that has been a client for over twenty years.”

“The process was relatively easy (although highlighted that some of our documents needed a better digital filing system so we took the opportunity of improving this) and our auditor was extremely patient and supportive. We are pleased to now have been awarded Safe Contractor status.”
