“You promised all will be done within a few days because i paid fast track. It tooked over a month - total tragedy. No communication between departments - had to submitted documents again. No one said exactly what documents i need to complete accreditation knowing my company status. Overall below expectations”

“With the usual dread I started with Safecontractor after moving accreditation supplier for a year. I was surprised by how quick my application was dealt with and also the amount of help offer by all the staff I had deals with. They all took the time and effort to make sure that I had everything in place. I even thanked one of them for keeping my sanity, Christmas and H & S at the same time never a good idea”

“Generally very happy with all things safe contractor BUT.... my big issue is with the time it takes from submission to accreditation. We could pay to fast-track but categorically refuse to do so as I feel the membership cost should cover it to be undertaken within the time frame set.”

“No problem with issuing the accreditation documentation. But due to the first date we were allowed to submit our documentation/questionnaire was the 18th December, which we did, and then received an email from yourselves saying it will be reviewed within 20 working days. Because it was Christmas, that 20 working days took the review date to more the end of January and not the expiry date of 18th January. It may be beneficial to issue an earlier date to submit our questionnaire if it falls on the Christmas break.”

“It was very good this time, the auditor was firm but fair. He found things that had never been previously identified. This will allow the development and maturity of ISO14001. He was calm and got on well with him.”

“Everybody I spoke to was great and very helpful and the application submission process itself was easy. However the overall process, specifically the review times left me with a slight sour taste. The initial application takes 20 working days to be reviewed, the the secondary review takes 5 days. This is 25 working days. Considering the application can only be submitted 30 days, not working days, just 30 days before it runs out this almost guarantees your old accreditation will run out for a week or two before it gets re-accepted.... Unless you pay to have it fast tracked...”

“Despite submitting our documents for approval well ahead of the annual expiry date, Safecontrator did not begin processing the renewal until the expiry date. Minor queries were raised by Safecontractor and answers were swiftly provided, however, Safecontractor failed to complete the assessment in a reasonable time. It took a month and a half for Safecontractor to assess our documents and this was only done after a complaint was raised. Overall it's very poor and not in any way customer-focused.”
