“The software limits what you can add or remove as relevant to your company activities. As we are not a contracting company many of our activities are limited and some of the questions do not allow for this.n I was happy with the customer service and help from the adviser.”

“We have been SafeContractor accredited for 7 years and this year has been the most straightforward application yet. I believe this to be down to the assistance of our appointed assessor who took the time to gather relevant documentation from past assessments and present us with a simple list of evidence required for the latest assessment. Once I had returned this information the assessment was done in 48 hours and our accreditation renewed. I would urge any business, whether new to the process or not to consider using the services of the SC team to fast track the process. It's well worth the extra money. Paul Chatwin. “We sent in our inspection information as required, this was rather slow going forward. We was then asked for additional information from Sally, this was sent in, I chased this by email on 2 occasions (no reply) In desperation I then called and was told will be attended to the next day (it wasn’t). Additional email request sent (no reply), we was then suspended from working with 2 clients. I then called again and managed to speak to a young lady who’s then asked me to send information to her and she would pass it on to the auditors. We was then asked for additional information and at this point the chap in got things moving promptly and indeed had it all tied up within 24 hours (thank you). This has caused us a great deal of distress and is far from good enough. I would like again to thank the auditor that handled me renewal at the end.”

Our standard audit time taken from all documents being submitted it 4 weeks for an auditor to complete your h&s assessment. To make the process faster next year, we recommend updating your documents throughout the year via our online portal so that when the questionnaire is released 30 days before expiry you can re-submit your up to date documents quickly. “Process is clumsy. I was asked to supply office risk assessments then asked to supply site risk assessments on top. It would have been far easier to have been provided with a clear list and a clear explanation as to what was required. I had to keep submitting documents to see if they were acceptable. Took up a lot of my time.”
