“The process and portal was very easy to navigate and understand. My criticism comes from the repeated request from several different members of your staff to pay for 'fast track' of my audit. I fully understand the requirement to generate income but this became a bit embarrassing and felt like pressure selling, which i would only expect from cold callers or window sales people!”

Thank you for your review and congratulations on achieving accreditation - we're pleased that you found the process and portal straight-forward. Our team endeavour to assess all questionnaires as quickly as possible and to provide as much assistance as possible. However if you would like to upgrade your package to have an express audit included or to include assistance from our team of expert IOSH and NEBOSH qualified auditors then this option is available to you also. Our team will advise of these options as our standard audit time is 4 weeks, however we will ensure that your feedback is given to our audit team as we certainly wouldn't want you to feel pressured into upgrading your membership if this is not of interest to you.

“I am glad we achieved this status and appreciate all the help we had with this. A couple of things that would have helped would have been as follows; 1 - Explain the amount of information that would be required based on what was told about my business. Things like fall harness etc... as I would have had more time to find this information to send across. 2 - Follow up much more and chase things down. I paid a premium for this but felt I wasn’t really helped that much and I seem to send the same info 2-3 times which is a little frustrating. Apart from that, which actually helped us tidy our operations up a little I was really pleased with the service given and hope this status will open some doors for us. All the best!”

“Rachel Jones the safety auditor was really helpful and very efficient. She assisted as soon as we contacted her and provided everything required - can't praise her enough for helping us out. The rest of the Safe Contractor system unfortunately is not the same. Slow to respond, poor communication and the web login never accepts our login first time. Very frustrating to deal with in comparison to similar accreditation bodies to be honest.”

Clients choose to work with us because we enable them to have greater visibility of the health and safety compliance of their supply chain. Our system ensures that all contractors they work with have the relevant documentation in place to comply with health and safety legislation. If you have any issues with any part of your audit then please don't hesitate to contact your auditor who will be happy to assist you. To make the process easier next year, we recommend updating your documents throughout the year via our online portal so that when the questionnaire is released 30 days before expiry you can re-submit your up to date documents quickly. As part of awarding our UK-leading accreditation annually, our team of expert auditors need to ensure that all contractors have the relevant documentation in place to comply with health and safety legislation, and this does involve submitting documentation within specific formats and templates and subsequent re-submission of documentation each time accreditation is awarded, to ensure that all evidence provided adheres to these standards.
