As part of awarding our UK-leading accreditation annually, our team of expert auditors need to ensure that all contractors have the relevant documentation in place to comply with health and safety legislation. To make the process faster next year, we recommend updating your documents throughout the year via our online portal, ready for when the questionnaire can be submitted 30 days before expiry. “Hi, Initially I was disappointed. We went to a lot of effort this year to have the assessment entered early (25/08/2020). When we phoned to see the status we were told it would take another 5-10 days to audit, which would take us past our expiry date. However, the customer support team were superb and got us taken care of very quickly. Being able to actually call someone to get help is very important.”

Our standard audit time taken from all documents being submitted is 4 weeks for an auditor to complete your h&s assessment. We’re sorry to learn that this year you were at risk of your accreditation expiring during the audit process – but are so pleased to hear that our customer support team were able to quickly get your audit expedited and ensure your accreditation was achieved in good time.

“Again, as last year, I could not download the questionnaire, nor did it arrive promptly. Two blokes I spoke to initially referred me to my IT dept (we are a team of 3 people! so no IT department) and remove cookies and that there was nothing wrong with your system. It took talking to Laura Davies who copied and pasted it onto a word document and emailed it to me (as Danielle Thomas did last year) for me to be able to complete my accreditation. Several hours wasted on this for me!!!”

We recommend testing your accessibility on a different browser if you do experience difficulties, and will ensure this is flagged with our technical team. We're pleased to learn that Laura was able to copy the questionnaire for you this time. If you experience accessibility issues next year, we recommend using the same question set you did (in the word document) this time to prepare your documents throughout the year. You can then submit this to your auditor 30 days before your accreditation expiry.
