We were guided through the online forms and then any areas where additional information was required we forwarded via email.”

“For 2021, please can you remind us much earlier that we need to get everything ready for our Safecontractor accreditation to be reviewed (i.e. at least a month beforehand). When we received the reminder this year, as we are only a standard package, it then took 4 weeks for us to be reviewed and went past the 18th October 2020 expiry date. We didn't want to be upgraded at an additional cost, however, if we receive a reminder earlier then we will be able to get everything ready in time. Thank you.”

Our standard audit time taken from all documents being submitted is 4 weeks for an auditor to complete your h&s assessment. We recommend updating your documents throughout the year via our online portal, ready for when the questionnaire can be submitted 30 days before expiry. We send a reminder to all contractor's inboxes 60 days before their accreditation expiry so keep an eye on your inbox for this. “All good but due to COVID-19 I felt staffing levels at Alcumus were not sufficient enough. A charge was placed to the customer if they wanted there application to be fast tracked. Never experienced this before.”

“Terrible, our admin team filled in the questionnaire as soon as it was available to get a email back stating it will take over 4 weeks (which would make us late for all our suppliers) and if we wanted it in 2 days we would need to pay and additional £125.00”

“Submitting our documentation was very easy, hassle free. I would just say having to pay an additional sum expediate our documentation review does feel excessive, as a small company the initial fee should ensure the same level of timeframe. Otherwise very good service.”
