“Our compliance expired during the recent pandemic and were due to renew. Sadly most of our team were furloughed and unable to complete their normal duties, therefore it was down to myself to renew! A interesting experience! But with the help and guidance of the team at Safe Contractor, we soon achieved compliance! So, a massive thank you for your help, guidance and support through these, most challenging of times!”

“very slow reevaluation process. perhaps this is down to covid 19 and lack of staff I am not sure because it does not say, all it does say is we can express it if you pay!”

Thank you for your review, and congratulations on your SafeContractor accreditation. Our standard audit time taken from all documents being submitted is 4 weeks for an auditor to complete your h&s assessment. Our team endeavour to assess all questionnaires as quickly as possible and to provide as much assistance as possible. However if you would like to upgrade your package to have an express audit included or to include assistance from our team of expert IOSH and NEBOSH qualified auditors then this option is available to you also. To make the process faster next year, we recommend updating your documents throughout the year via our online portal, ready for when the questionnaire can be submitted 30 days before expiry. If you have any further queries about how this works then please don't hesitate to get in touch with our team directly.

“Whilst the audit covered the necessities, it asked for a lot more than in previous years and question was asked why some documents were not asked for previously if needed. Bit of a long drawn out process that took months to get through and needs to be made a lot quicker”

“There was confusion with what was required and when asking me for that information the person could have made it much quicker by being specific about what was required as I clearly did not understand. She asked for the same thing over and over using the same terminology, rather than using different words to explain what she needed. If i didn't understand the term the first time, saying it 5 more times wasn't going to help... Don't get stuck in using language/acronyms that is internal to your organisation or to that of experienced H&S professionals when talking to all customers as we are all different levels of knowledge and experience.”
