“Accreditation was late due to admin assistant being on leave and no out of office, took a week for someone at SC to pick up on their inbox, resulting in 36 hours of lost works orders from our client”

Thanks for your feedback on your experience. I have fed this back to our audit team and can advise that once submitted, the wait time for the standard package can be up to 4 weeks. To make the process faster and easier to complete next year, we recommend updating your documents throughout the year via our online portal so that when the questionnaire is released 30 days before expiry you can re-submit your up to date documents quickly. “Not Good, the people are polite and considerate but what they are asked to do by the company is both bureaucratic and needlessly pedantic. This is not good for customer relations”

Our system ensures that all contractors they work with have the relevant documentation in place to comply with health and safety legislation. “Pretty straight forward as i use my CHAS SSIP to avoid most of the duplications. My ony gripe is the associated cost applied this year however when i called and mentioned my CHAS accreditation i was then applied a reduced cost saving us £182.00!”

To ensure that your discounted price is applied, at renewal please ensure that your CHAS accreditation is still active and request a 'SSIP - Deem to Satisfy' route to SafeContractor accreditation.
