“As always the staff at SafeContractor were excellent and easy to work with. Our application was dealt with in a timely manner which hasn't been the case in previous years. It seems the process has become more streamlined and seems much easier to complete to application. Many thanks to all the staff involved.”

“Appalled by how the Company we use to gain our accreditation through charges us a fee for the service but the review process is 20 working days so we effectively have to wait a month for our accreditation to be approved unless we pay an addition "express" fee so they look at it within 2 days. Knowing how key this accreditation is to small businesses an in many instances you are placed on stop if this accreditation expires is tantamount to holding you to ransom and extorting an extra few hundred quid out of you. We will be looking to move to another provider with immediate effect but this is something safe contractor need to be aware is happening.”

We are always looking to improve the service that we provide and have introduced packages that enable contractors requiring accreditation quickly to use an express service that is guaranteed to be completed faster than our standard audit time of 4 weeks. If you require any guidance on the documentation required then our team of technical experts are on hand and are always happy to help. Our contractor portal is available year-round, so to speed up this process going forward we recommend uploading your up to date documents throughout the year so that when your questionnaire is released 30 days prior to expiry, you are ready to submit. “It was a pantomime. there was no clear list regarding what was required and I needed to go through several submissions over a couple of weeks to get this closed out. Many documents were being asked for this time around which were not previously required. After the second or third time of asking, it became apparent that we had been incorrectly assigned the wrong business classification, which was why I was being chased for a load of unnecessary paperwork. After this had been established, it took another few days to convince your staff that this was the case. Considering the amount of money you charge for this service, I expected better and would certainly think it appropriate for you to offer some form of gesture to recompense the costs of my time.
