“having uploaded our H&S information onto the portal before 30 days due, the date of exp is 25th January, therefore 30 days before means the date to submit was Christmas day. having phoned and explained that our office are closed i was informed nothing could be done. having then chatted on live chat a nice lady said you could submit this for us which would give us the 30 day correct amount to be checked and accredited before expiry. only to find that you were behind and that it would go over the 30 days unless we paid for a 2 day turnaround. We had done everything in the time frame however penalised for not paying an extra fee to get it looked at sooner, therefore our other ssip associations were expiring and could not submit due to safecontractor not for filling there time scales”

Thank you for your review, and congratulations on your SafeContractor accreditation. Our standard audit time taken from all required documents being submitted is 20 working days for a technical officer to review your h&s assessment, however this can sometimes go over due to delayed submissions and backlogs caused by mutual office closures over the Christmas period. Our team endeavour to assess all questionnaires as quickly as possible and to provide as much assistance as possible. If you would like to upgrade your package to have an express audit included or to include assistance from our team of expert IOSH and NEBOSH qualified auditors then this option is available to you also. Please accept our sincere apologies for any inconvenience caused by the delay.

Thank you for your review, and congratulations on your SafeContractor accreditation. Our audit process consists of an initial check by a Technical Support Officer and final sign off by and Auditor. On occasion, you may be asked to supply additional information by the Auditor to ensure that you have provided all relevant documentation in place to comply with health and safety legislation. “The process was fairly simple although I questioned why they require certain information such as proof of purchase of hire equipment when that’s is already covered in RAMS and IPAF certification Rather just just go off a script they need to look at everything”
