“I admit we were late renewing our accreditation, due to Covid-19 but we had paid our subscription a few months prior. In October I updated our information and documents I was informed checking wouldn't happen for 4 weeks, unless I paid a further subscription. after 5 weeks I was contacted and asked to supply a little more information which I did without delay. I was then sent an email to inform me that my information would now be sent to audit, and they would be in touch within 2 days. some 7 days later I contacted them to state I was unhappy that there had been no further contact and I wished to cancel the account and get a refund, within an hour of sending that email I received our Accreditation. The time taken to complete the Audit is unrealistic and Unsatisfactory.”

Our standard audit time taken from all required documents being submitted is 4 weeks for a technical officer to review your h&s assessment. Our audit process consists of an initial check by a Technical Support Officer and final sign off by and Auditor. On occasion, you may be asked to supply additional information by the Auditor to ensure that you have provided all relevant documentation in place to comply with health and safety legislation. Our team endeavour to assess all questionnaires as quickly as possible and to provide as much assistance as possible. If you would like to upgrade your package to have an express audit included or to include assistance from our team of expert IOSH and NEBOSH qualified auditors then this option is available to you also. To make the process faster next year, we recommend updating your documents throughout the year via our online portal, ready for when the questionnaire can be submitted 30 days before expiry.

“not impressed with time it took to be re-accredited. having to re confirm issues which have been addressed in all our previous audits. The fact that you try to get more money out of customers for a quick turnaround is in my opinion just money grabbing and not at all in your customers interest.”

“Again, as per our comments last year renewal was overly painful in terms of repetition of information needed. We were told again that it would be far simpler, not the case and very time consuming.”

“Renewal not easy this year. Staff not helpful with the exception of one lady who I made a complaint to. Slow turn around, had to chase renewal through on final day of SLA as no correspondence received.”
