“I paid the extra £80 for the additional support which I thought a bit much considering the accreditation is already expensive. , however lee Stevenson who helped me was amazing , he is a credit to your organisation and I would like him to get some recognition for his work . I got accredited in 1 day from start to finish . Thanks lee . William Tinlin”

“Flexible yet exacting questions and explanations required. But a willingness to accept how your business may have quirks or differences to the norm. I actually enjoyed the system and the challenge. Friendly approach to it as well. all helps.”

“Long process. Documents that were asked were not appropriate to our company. No assistance. The questionnaire website has never worked for us - many attempts to access but then told email documents and answers. The whole experience is frustrating.”

Thank you for your review, and congratulations on your SafeContractor accreditation. Our standard audit time taken from all documents being submitted it 4 weeks for an auditor to complete your h&s assessment. To make the process faster next year, we recommend updating your documents throughout the year via our online portal, ready for when the questionnaire can be submitted 30 days before expiry. If you have any issues with understanding how documents apply to your business or needing to make changes to what you submit based on your unique business, then please don't hesitate to get in touch with our team directly. We will ensure that the website issues you've mentioned are passed on to our technology team to investigate, but once again please do not hesitate to contact your auditor for assistance who will happily find a way to help you submit the documents to gain your accreditation.

“the most annoying this is that you pay the renewal weeks / months in advance and then when you can submit the application you have to wait the full 20 days ( without parting with yet more money ) for it to be audited, it allows very little time to do this before the certificate expires. mine was audited on exactly the 20th working day. it would assist greatly if you opened the audit when you paid the renewal giving plenty of time. it appears to be an additional money maker by charging extra for a fast track service when this could easily be avoided.”

Your payment renewal date does not necessarily align with your accreditation date as your accreditation renewal may change each year depending on how quickly your business completes the audit. Please be advised that our standard audit time taken from all documents being submitted it 4 weeks for an auditor to complete your h&s assessment. However, you can make the process faster next year by updating your documents throughout the year via our online portal, ready for when the questionnaire can be submitted 30 days before expiry. “the time from submission to approval i far too long - CHAS are much much quicker and in future will go with them and SafeContractor through deem to satisfy”

“Support from team in getting our accreditation was top class - Very helpful with a common sense approach to how different contractors work. I paid a little extra for a quick turnaround and it was worth it - From fully submitting all required info to receiving certificate was a matter of hours.”
