“I have given a rating of good and not very good because of timings. Once I called, staff where fantastic and pro-active. My negative comments are surrounding the "fast track" option. I had completed the application and provided the information for audit at the soonest possible time (28 day prior) and it was obvious this hadn't been looked at until I called 2 days before our certificate run out date. I understand the concept of "fast track" services however this shouldn't be replaced with "being left until last unless you pay us extra service" when I have provided the information well in advance. That being said, I have always thought highly of the staff I have dealt with at SafeContractor and we will continue to use this service for our SSiP accreditation. I had a copy certificate emailed to me on the day but we are still waiting on the certificate by post now over a week later.”

Please be advised that our standard audit time taken from all documents being submitted is 20 working days for an auditor to review your submitted h&s assessment. Our team endeavour to assess all questionnaires as quickly as possible, but please do accept our sincere apologies for any inconvenience the delay may have caused you on this occasion. If you would like to upgrade your package to ensure a faster outcome, then we do offer package upgrades that offer an express audit included or assistance from our team of expert IOSH and NEBOSH qualified audit team. “Easy platform to use but perhaps more detail set against each question as to the information/documentation required would make it easier for both the applicant and the auditor.”

Our online system supported by our audit team try to ensure that they make any outstanding documentations very clear, however if at any point you have any queries about how these requirements apply to your business then please do not hesitate to contact your auditor directly, who will be happy to support you.

Our standard audit time taken from all documents being submitted is 4 weeks for an auditor to complete your h&s assessment. Our team endeavour to assess all questionnaires as quickly as possible and to provide as much assistance as possible. However if you would like to upgrade your package to have an express audit included or to include assistance from our team of expert IOSH and NEBOSH qualified auditors then this option is available to you also. To make the process faster next year, we recommend updating your documents throughout the year via our online portal, ready for when the questionnaire can be submitted 30 days before expiry.

“For 2021, please can you remind us much earlier that we need to get everything ready for our Safecontractor accreditation to be reviewed (i.e. at least a month beforehand). When we received the reminder this year, as we are only a standard package, it then took 4 weeks for us to be reviewed and went past the 18th October 2020 expiry date. We didn't want to be upgraded at an additional cost, however, if we receive a reminder earlier then we will be able to get everything ready in time. Thank you.”

We recommend updating your documents throughout the year via our online portal, ready for when the questionnaire can be submitted 30 days before expiry. We send a reminder to all contractor's inboxes 60 days before their accreditation expiry so keep an eye on your inbox for this. “All good but due to COVID-19 I felt staffing levels at Alcumus were not sufficient enough. A charge was placed to the customer if they wanted there application to be fast tracked. Never experienced this before.”

“Hi, Initially I was disappointed. We went to a lot of effort this year to have the assessment entered early (25/08/2020). When we phoned to see the status we were told it would take another 5-10 days to audit, which would take us past our expiry date. However, the customer support team were superb and got us taken care of very quickly. Being able to actually call someone to get help is very important.”
