After numerous years of submitting our application with the same company name, the assessor decided this year that Contracting was required also, this was extremely very nick picky and unnecessary and caused no end of additional time and money, even Chas then deem to satisfy questioned our name change. I do think that this was very unreasonable as we have been known as SJS Irrigation for many many years !

Although the process was relatively straight forward and documents easy to upload into the portal, we felt the more information we gave to Safe Contractor, the more information they required to ascertain and prove our procedures and skilled tradesmen which was difficult at times due to live databases and felt the cost of this did not outweigh the value of costs we carried out on behalf of our Clients.

The enrollment process would be better if there was a database with templates for the required information required.

Easy to manage process of accreditation - not too clear as to what you've done & what needs doing - especially when you try & do it in stages!

The questionnaire seemed to take an interminable time to be audited. It was submitted on the first available date and the audit commenced one week [7 days] before the certificates expiry. But, once the process started it didn't take too long to complete. One aspect that frankly annoyed me was that things like our H&S Policy, the content of which has never previously never been questioned, was found deficient in several areas. These were all covered by subordinate policies or procedures, so are covered within the management system.

Our standard audit time taken from all documents being submitted is 4 weeks for an auditor to complete your h&s assessment. To make the process faster next year, we recommend updating your documents throughout the year via our online portal, ready for when the questionnaire can be submitted 30 days before expiry. absolutely amazing! I dealt with Vivian Lott and Jodie Thomas who kept me informed and both very approachable and responsive on emails. A BIG special thank you to Samantha A.Travis honestly she almost made me feel like part of a team! so so helpful, thank you Sam for guiding me ever so carefully so I understood each part, you made the whole process so easy for me!

The whole renewal process appears to have become a money making exercise due to the fact that the renewal process time frame is insufficient to readily complete the task within the time taken to turn around renewals unless one pays for an express service. To open the renewal portal 1 month before the renewal date and then have a 20 working day (effectively 1 month!) turnaround period is totally unacceptable. Either shorten the turnaround of extend the renewal window.

Really impressed with the customer support service - both the online chat, the email comms and the time spect with me on the phone. No complaints whatsoever - very grateful for all the help. The most frustrating part was the inability to be able to remove legacy docs from the portal - these had to communicated by chat/email and then removed on my behalf. Once submitted, the support and guidance received from the Team and the Auditor was fantastic. It was made very clear what information was still required or indeed and most informatively, why it was still required.

Good service and generally happy except for long wait from submission to review/accreditation. I feel being asked to pay to speed this up is unfair when I have already paid for membership.

Regarding the option to upgrade to another package the cost of this is a reflection of the extra support received which in turn will speed up certain parts of the process. Difficult process throughout. Lot's of perfectly acceptable documents were not accepted and an lot of irrelevant information required. Expensive so have to go through the amount if rigmarole.
