“I was generally unhappy with the time it took to review our application. Information that was requested appeared to be repetitive and unnecessary and little if any consideration had been given to the fact that, we had been in the middle of a global pandemic throughout the year.”

“The process is straightforward and the portal is easy to use. I have used the Chat service for help and this was very easy to use and very helpful. Once I had submitted our application and allocated an advisor and then auditor, the process becomes more personal and both of the people working with me were very helpful. All in all a very positive experience.”

“Simple process, just slower than expected”

Thank you for your review, and congratulations on your SafeContractor accreditation! Our standard audit time taken from all documents being submitted is 4 weeks for an auditor to complete your h&s assessment. To make the process faster next year, we recommend updating your documents throughout the year via our online portal, ready for when the questionnaire can be submitted 30 days before expiry. “We now appear to be getting a lot of nit picking questions from auditors who do not appear to understand the construction industry. For example if you are carrying a comprehensive refurbishment contract it is difficult to submit a step by step Method statement.”

“Recently completed the accreditation process for safe contractor, the process can seem daunting at first but they’re with you every step of the way. I’d like to mention in particular Megan who has helped me no end to achieve our goal, excellent!”
