Very slow to get accreditation after submitting the questionnaire, i.e. we get the new cert after expiry of the old one and when customers ask us for the new cert for their files we have to tell them that we are waiting on it, which is not very professional

Previously, you could submit the renewal questionnaire 30 days before your expiry date. Now, we've extended that window to 60 days before expiry, giving you an additional 30 days to complete the submission. We hope this change makes a positive difference as you prepare for next year! Poor all round, takes months to get through an audit, documents acceptable last year are now not acceptable, the responses are slow, takes weeks to come back, it isnt something I would recoment. The fact that we previously went through an ISO 45001 audit with no problem makes me wonder what the real cause of the delays is for.

Aggressive high pressure sales and renewal tactics made this a very unpleasant experience, core service is fine, customer management, onboarding and relationship management is terrible

Great process, helped highlight areas that our procedures didn’t quite cover. Ultimately, allowed us to demonstrate our compliance to Health and Safety within our industry, through their audit process. Highly recommend.

If I could give you zero stars I would. I've never come across a company with such bad customer service. Only interested in getting membership payment off you, then the service they deliver is appalling. Glad I cancelled my membership.

I am very disappointed at the service provided by safe contractor. We had our renewal recently and I agreed on receipt of renewal a payment date which was agreed and confirmed. Prior to this date I received a rather what I felt threatening email stating if I didn’t pay the renewal our membership would be terminated. This is the left not knowing what the right has agreed and I found this very unprofessional. I hope that this feed back is received as a training issue to some staff who write these sort of communications to long standing customers.

We have the same problem every year. We are a small specialised metering company where we provide on site support for univeristies and contractors on new builds and refurbishment. However, we do not carry out installation work on these jobs but require Safecontractor status by the univeristies. Your system is very inflexible so we end up with the same problem having to explain what we do and why we are not a constrution company / construction contractor although we have to visit these site.

Painful as we get queried on the same points every year even though nothing has changed on those points in 10 years. Extremely expensive for the lack of benefit in return.
