Difficult as everyone presumes that we a huge building contractor. One size doesn't fit all.

The whole process was straight forward with great support from Alcumus. We have used Alcumus for several years and would highly recommend them.

Good, the health & safety process is brilliant with loads of help and information. However the sustainability process could improve and use the same format as the health & safety process.

I am sorry to hear that in this instance you felt our service fell short of your expectations, at SafeContractor we do operate a queue system owing to the volume of accounts we have to process. To counter this, we do offer a variety of packages dependent on the needs of our contractors. For example, those who are happy to wait don't need to upgrade, but for businesses where there is urgency the express package is more appropriate. As your business is on the standard package these lead times for accreditation can apply. In order to avoid delays, You can complete your questionnaire all year round and then submit 30 days before expiry. I submitted my information and documentation in plenty of time, it took so long to be verified that we were out of compliance.

Some businesses may accept a longer wait time if they don't need continuous approval, while others require a quicker response to ensure their certificate remains current and in date. I understand your frustration, but after reviewing your account, I can confirm that you received the appropriate service for your selected package. The process was rigorous, as it should be, and served to both reinforce and improve upon our health and safety for the company and the health and welfare of the staff and the resultant surety to our customers that we are proactive within this sphere of business. Very helpful and supportive staff, a particular credit goes to Anthena Cowley who 'went the extra mile' to ensure that we received accreditation in a timely manner. She is an exemplar for your organisation.

Hi Touch-Less Hygiene UK Ltd t/a Sanondaf UK, Thank you for your feedback. We truly value the insights we receive from our customers, and in response to your feedback, we've made an improvement. Previously, you could submit the renewal questionnaire 30 days before your expiry date. Now, we've extended that window to 60 days before expiry, giving you an additional 30 days to complete the submission. Although this does not change the response time of the standard package, this will hopefully allow extra time for the audit to take place ensuring a smoother process for coming years. Very long winded process. 1st Auditor (pre-audit stage) stated audit was now with the final audit team, but it turned out it wasn't and ended up with numerous calls from me, with eventually asking for a new auditor. I submitted this 30 days before the expiry date and ended up receiving the certificate a month after this date! Shocking experience this time around. No communication.

Thank you for your review, and congratulations on being SafeContractor Approved for another year. Reviewing your account, I see that you have completed the Deemed to Satisfy process. This means your questionnaire was shortened because you have an SSIP with another provider. While this streamlines the SafeContractor process, we still require some risk profile questions tailored to your business work activities. I hope that the above information is helpful. The accreditation process is very slow. You are now given time to complete the questions asked before submitting but its often the case that your accreditation runs out before its renewed which isn't helpful when your clients expect it to be in date. Contacting SC doesn't speed things up either and i'm often left frustrated with the lack of urgency. There is a 'fast track' option for an extra financial burden which we're unwilling to pay as we feel that there's sufficient time from submitting to being accreditated.

We advise our customers to choose the package that best suits their business needs, some are willing to experience a longer wait time as their business may not require an approval to be active all year around, whereas others need a quicker response and need to make sure that their certificate stays in date. While I appreciate your frustrations, having reviewed your account I can see that you have received the appropriate service for the package that you are on.
