It's quite time consuming to be honest, but then I suppose it should be, after all it's not worth having if it's easy. I'm disappointed not to have received an up to date logo for our website, nor one for Sustainability Accrediation Silver Award, as that would be good to put on our company paperwork and website, but I understand that it's going to be a necessary part of the SafeContractor accreditation in future so no additional logo is deemed to be required but I still think it's a missed opportunity for positive marketing.

when you receive help, they are usually helpful, but you only receive help if you wait 20 days or 5 days etc or PAY for a speeded up service

I found this year that Safecontractor was slow to respond to any emails and took a very long time to process my renewal. Last year I got a safecontractor card, nothing this year. Also last year I got a proper certificate, this year nothing. Not great for the cost.

Always very slow to actually accredited the qualification to the point our ceritification expires before we are recertified. My emails were also ignored and I ended up having to seek a contact out via linkedin to resolve.

We submitted our application at the end of February and heard nothing till the final day that Alcumus must respond ( this has happened before they try and leave it to encourage you to use the enhanced service and pay more. We left it knowing they would contact us ) None of our suppliers noticed that it hadnt renewed which makes us question why we even need it. Once we were given an assessor it took 11 days not the promised 5. This is a money making machine . Dont use them unless you absolutely have to

Take way too long if there are any queries, and then when they do ask for more answers once you have sent them off they come back with some different ones! Taken nearly 3 months this year!!

Too slow You are the only SSIP provider I know that has a 45-day turnaround, especially as you are only issuing your certificates on the back of someone elses, and they have done the all the hard work auditing for you. And you are the only one that charges an upgrade fee to have the audit completed faster.

You did not deliver the service in the time scales you advertise & when asked why it was because of low staffing numbers & a high amount of businesses had submitted their assessments at the same time.

It's protracted unless you pay a premium to have it dealt with swiftly. I had submitted documents that were within date, but when someone looked at the file these had expired so was requested to re-submit new ones.

The assessment side of things was made very easy with direct communication with the assessor which reduced the to-ing and fro-ing and a successful submission made. Delays with invoicing and slight delay in receving the certificates has prevented the 5-stars.
