“Fantastic and quick service- only issue was that the item was delivered a day before we agreed. Luckily someone was in but it was a bit inconvenient.”

“Good attention to problems. Servicing engineer called same week and diagnosed issue after investigation. Only a call-out charge was nèeded, and this spared greater expense.”

“I easily found the product I was looking for on your website and purchased a graded item at a good price, the description and photos accurately showed what I was purchasing and I wasn't disappointed when the product was delivered. Overall I was happy with my experience and would purchase from you again but I have given a 4-star review instead of 5 because communication around delivery could have been better. My order confirmation stated that the product would be delivered on Monday 17th April, I arranged to be home and to have a friend come round in the evening to help me install it. At 10.00 on Mon 17th, I called to see if I could get an indication of the time of delivery and was told that my delivery was booked for Weds 19th. The person I spoke to explained that you only deliver to my area on Wednesdays and apologised that no one had called to let me know. He advised that the delivery would be made on Weds 19th between 10am - 4pm and that if there was a problem someone would call me. I arranged to be home all day on Weds 19th, it was getting late in the day so around 2.30 I called to check that it was on its way and was told that the delivery was booked for Thurs 20th. The person I spoke to said that you don't usually use your vans to deliver to my area (RG24) but as you had several deliveries in the area you were using your vans instead of a courier. He apologised for whoever informed me that the delivery was going to be on Weds 19th and that it would definitely be on Thurs 20th. He said he would get the delivery driver to call me when he knew his route to give me an indication of the delivery time so I didn't have to wait all day. I got a call at 9.30 on Thursday as promised to say they would be with me within an hour and the product was successfully delivered.”

“I like the Bosch vacuum cleaner. However, when I bought there was not mentioned in the description that it will come without additional parts, brushes etc. It was great communication with the shop staff and he suggests to buy additional parts separately through the Bosh website. Another extra money to spend.”

“Ruislip Appliances seemed to be trying too hard and then falling short of their promises. We ordered a Liebherr Fridge freezer to be delivered Monday. The computer told the assistant that only afternoon slots were available. Another man more senior (probably the manager) came over saying he could deliver in the morning. My wife stayed in all morning and when nothing had come by 12:30 I rang up to find that the van had only just left for the afternoon slots with our fridge freezer on board. When I asked why it did not come in the morning the man said it was always going to be in the afternoon because that was the only slot available. So, my wife stayed in the morning for nothing. However, the fridge that was sold to us has been very good. Very quiet, very cold and like the alarm function that tells you when you have left the door open. Overall Good but I think they should not promise something they cannot deliver. I think they tried too hard to gain our custom. Next time just tell the customer no more slots in the morning we will have to deliver in the afternoon.”

“Good attention from Ruislip Appliances and cooker was delivered and old appliances removed on the day as agreed. It was a shame that the electrical fitting/plug had to be changed in order to fit the cooker in place and that the fitters were not authorised to do this so just left the cooker with me and left. However, I was lucky in that the local electrician I found to change the plug came the same day and fitted the cooker in place at the same time for me. Again Ruislip Appliances were prompt in refunding the fitting fee for this to me, so no complaints there.”

“Once they two guys arrived they were helpful & professional. However, I did not receive a call from them to let me know when they were arriving - as had been promised by the office personnel when I make the order/booking. I questioned the guys who delivered and installed my new washing machine (& removed the old one) and they said they had left the depo at 7.30am but had not been given any instructions to call me. This 'disconnect' between the office admin team & the delivery team is most unhelpful. Fortunately, I was at home when they arrived, but had I relied on what I had been told, I might not have been, which would have been very annoying for me - & the delivery guys! Peter”

“Competitive. The cooker hood I purchased was graded, but was advised I store that it had gone through a “21 point check” b4 being sold on. Installed this and then found that the button for the light wouldn’t depress. Was unimpressed with the checks made as there should have been a 22 point check system! 🤷‍♂️Anyway I managed to fix the problem from within the unit by giving the switch pack a forceful nudge toward the rear since the clearance for the button was slightly out of alignment.”

“I recently required a new oven and such was the urgency in getting it replaced I opted to go to an independent retailer which was local an had one available for collection the same day at the same price as a number of others whose delivery schedules were at best 2 days away....”

“I purchased a Bosh dishwasher + disposal of the old dishwasher + installation of the new one. My experience in the store was good. The item was delivered in just few days. The personnel that did the installation were kind and polite. However, it would have been better for the installation to be done a bit more in line with the manufacturer's instructions.”

“The purchase and delivery of the item was fine, but the delivery driver asked if the shop had informed me that there were 2 dents in the washing machine, which they had not. I asked for a discount and was given £20 off, not enough in hindsight. The dent on the front is very obvious in certain lights.”
