“Ordered 2 Iroko gates totaling £2400, and was given a delivery time of 10 to 15 Days! Following numerous phone calls, of which many were ignored, delivery took over a month. Finally I was promised a delivery date on September 1st, as the fitters had been arranged to be on site. Despite this, delivery did not take place until the 5th, incurring great inconvenience and cost. In addition labels had been attached to the main gate and sprayed over, causing stains. Although an apology was offered, it did not mitigate the frustration caused! At lease they managed to get the sizes right!”

“Unfortunately the picket gate I ordered was damaged by the courier company while in transit, so that the outer pales both fell off. While a full refund was provided, I had concerns about the quality of the gate that meant it was damaged so easily and didn't re-order.”

“Awful experience from start to finish. Had to wait six weeks for delivery of a gate. And that was with me chasing from 3 weeks in, multiple times. Said it was arriving, didn’t turn up on day allocated three times. (I’d taken time off work etc). Then when it did turn up, it was too small. They’d sent the wrong size and forgot to send the hardware that I’d paid to go with it. I had to arrange refund and collection of it. Then they sent another gate - this time the wood was all split. The ladies on the phone were lovely but rubbish service abs awful quality! Don’t buy from here!!!”

“This is the first time I have dealt with your company and I ordered a side gate with posts and ironwork. All the staff have been an absolute delight to deal with especially Tracey & Kate. The gate quailty is so good that when we fitted it my brother suggested we fit another bracket. Kate asked me to send photos of the fitted gate, and I rembered I han't given you a review so I'm attaching them to this. Thanks Robert (Kent)”

“We purchased a wooden gate to add to the security of our garden. We didn't have to wait long for delivery and were kept informed of progress. The gate is strong and well made. The wood is good quality and unlikely to warp. We are very pleased with item we purchased from Ruby UK”

“I had my gates made 2.1m high, the larger side is about 2m wide and 1m for the smaller one. I had to be really specific on the sizes due to not hanging them the "normal" way, I have them opening out towards the road. They were made perfectly, I was worried about seeing warping because of the size but they are dead square and line up spot on. Lovely job, will highly recommend, thank you.”

“Funny you should ask. Ordered wood Too long to wait for the wood to be run as was obviously not held in stock Order arrived, quality poor with split boards and incorrect quantity, not enough to start the job. Contacted sales team but no other material ever arrived. Eventually had to do the job another way so price of order £360 I think was a good waste of time and money. Too busy to be constantly chasing. I would not recommend at all. You did ask !”
