“Ordered a bespoke gate, posts and galvanised ironwork mid June. Was told would be told when items were ready for dispatch but had to chase for this information. Took several attempts to get a delivery date, more than a week after my order had been picked up by their delivery provider. However on delivery the gate was missing. Neither the delivery company or Ruby were able to say what happened to it. Ruby offered to make a new gate. Apparently the gate was picked up by the delivery team a couple of days ago but again I'm chasing for a delivery date to be arranged. Not entirely confident I will ever see this gate. Would not use again.”

“Brought a panel to replace an old panel purchased from a DIY store. Although it cost more, I expect it to last longer and it looks very nice now it has been fitted.”

“5 stars despite being let down on a planned delivery. I ordered a pair of driveway gates well in advance as I wanted them on site when we were ready to fit and was promised a specific week. Unfortunately there was a delay in manufacture and the date was missed. However Rubys customer service was excellent and they did everything to speed the delivery up eventually getting in delivered on the Saturday of that week. Things do go wrong and its how this is dealt with that makes the difference. Top marks to Ruby.”

“Trying to find a company that did made to measure garden doors is hard. However, Ruby managed it, with a prompt service and good qual;ity product. Would definitley reccomend them.”

“Great delivery, terrific gate, strong, well made and easy to fit. Nowhere else could I find the size I needed and our builder is buying another one for another customer who has bought a "flimsy" one he refuses to fit.”

“Very good online store with plenty of products offering different options and size, plus the prices are very competitive. Good communications throughout the order and manufacturing process. My only minor issue was with the delivery as I was only given about an hours notice of the gazebos delivery, luckily I was at home so no harm but I really should have been given much more notice.”

“While the products from Ruby are mostly good, their customer service is shockingly bad. I have ordered through Ruby several times and each time the delivery is later than the last. This last time my delivery was nearly 2 weeks late - every day since the original delivery date I was told it would be with me in 2 days… Ruby called me originally to get my custom, and promised to be better than the supplier I had been using - suffice to say, I’ll be going back to my old supplier.”

“Dreadful service. Paid upfront promised 10-15 days delivery. After No updates I chased it without getting promised calls back. Eventually delivered following my further complaints after 22 days.”

“i ordered quite a few lengths of 2"x1" planed larch. I then added 2 more lengths to the order and was informed that this may delay delivery, which was fine. after several weeks and emails i eventually received the delivery, but the 2 extra pieces were missing. I'm not sure how my extra pieces held everything up, when the they weren't delivered. a week alter they turned up. to be honest i've used the planed wood, but it wasn't brilliant, with bits missing, and some pieces very warped.”
