Good Afternoon Graham, We're sorry to hear you feel the service could be improved. We can see the order was placed on the 1st. A dispatch confirmation and an initial ETA of the 6th was provided the very next day. Despite being delayed, the item arrived within 4 full working days of placing the order. Your item carries a lead time of 2-5 working days. We annotate in all emails sent after purchasing, that orders placed during what is the busiest period of the year for online sales may be delayed somewhat but you can always call to confirm. Good Afternoon Kevin, Thanks for taking time to leave feedback - We find it odd that we have a 1 star service rating however. Looking at the notes, we can see that you had placed your order in the morning and a refund was processed within a matter of hours later that day. The 'cheaper' product you referred to was not a like-for-like item, rather from a completely different manufacturer that uses less expensive materials. When you called back to request a price match, this was explained by the operator but you became rude and aggressive and ended the call. This was all while your client was in discussion with another member of staff, as they were putting together a quote on other items. Unfortunately for your customer we declined to offer that quote based on the call we had prior. We feel it's important to tell the full story when looking to provide info to other potential customers. Rubberduck Bathrooms Team

“Rude, patronising, sarcastic unprofessional and incompetent. Thankfully I didn't part with any money. I went to the Redcar showroom for a pre-arranged appointment. I was immediately greeted with a "your late and I cant see you as my next customer is due". I wasn't late they messed up my appointment and David who did my survey was double booked but chose to see the other customer. Before he left, he showed me a design of my bathroom on his laptop saying the pipe to the toilet was a problem and they would have to dig the floor up, he had mentioned this as a possibility when he came out to do the survey. I told him I didn't want the floor digging up as it was concrete and because he had also said there would be a risk, I didn't want to take the risk and said I would just like a replacement toilet where the current one is. He said "I assumed you wanted a bathroom in the 21st century" and walked off. I should have walked out at this point. He then left me with an assistant who had no measurements or photographs of my bathroom despite the fact David had taken several and he asked me to describe the plumbing of my toilet! He said he couldn't show me a toilet that would fit and didn't have the measurement of how far the box might be at the back and my door may hit the toilet as it is only a small bathroom. A very odd comment to make as my current toilet isn't hit by the door. He was so patronising I had completely had enough, I thanked him(god knows why I did that but I am a polite person), I said I would be going somewhere else and walked out. My advice is to go somewhere else, they made me feel belittled, upset and completed wasted my time, I had driven from Northallerton.”

“The Neptune wall/ceiling panels are ok quality but prone to damage easily. Final effect is good. Don't be tempted to finish off with the coving though. In spite of the video showing that this can be fitted with one hand this is impossible to do when you are at the top of a ladder and trying to manage a long strip. I eventually threw it away and fitted some standard ceiling coving.”

We've supplied the ceiling panels and coving strips for a number of years now and we've found the feedback in relation to fitting them to be quite positive from both professional tradesmen and DIYers alike. As with any malleable material of a certain length, you would need to support the profile on both ends when looking to clip on the decorative side. The video displayed, while dated, simply shows the method of fixing and gives an idea of how the finished article could look. “I live in Norfolk but decided to order shower panels through Rubber Duck Bathrooms. Apart from being the best value I could find on the internet their customer service was excellent too. I couldn't have expected more from Gary, at the Middlesborough showroom, who's communication in resolving an minor issue with a third party manufacturer was outstanding. If ever I need further bathroom products in the future I would have no hesitation in ordering through Rubber Duck Bathrooms. A pleasure to do business with this company.”
