I chose Rubberduck Bathrooms because they were the only place selling Durapanel Wall Panels in the colour I wanted (other than the original manufacturer who was charging about 50% more). Having settled on them for the shower panels I also chose the trim strips I needed which had a different thickness dimension than the panels which was confusing. I rang and was assured that the trims would fit the panels so added them to the order along with the Multipanel Bottom Seal Kit and then changed my mind about my chosen shower enclosure and ordered that from Rubberduck as well, mainly because they had huge discounts on at the time, along with yet a further discount code for ordering online. I was also thinking that I would get everything in one delivery. Wrong. The shower panels arrived first, delivered by a small courier company I had never heard of but whose communications, delivery estimate, driver tracker and the actual delivery and off-loading were absolutely spot-on. They did what they said and nothing was too much trouble for the drivers. I would give them 10/10 for both the delivery of the panels and the subsequent delivery of the shower enclosure. In the meantime I realised that I needed yet another trim piece and spoke with Rubberduck on the Thursday who said no problem, they would add it to the order and would also ensure that the original order was sent out as I had heard nothing about the delivery by then. Next I received a notification from FedEx saying that my items would be delivered on the Friday. As I was concerned about the trims being bent in transit, I wanted to be home for the delivery so stayed in all day. (I needn't have worried about the trims, all trims were sent perfectly packed in solid plastic pipes plumbing pipes.) Nothing arrived, other than an email at 09:40 saying my items would be delivered between 08:10 and 12:10. They weren't. I rang FedEx customer service who, obviously, had gone home for the day and didn't work weekends, so Customer Disservice then. On Saturday morning, still having not had my original items delivered by FedEx, I rang Rubberduck who told me that my two orders had been despatched separately and they would check with the warehouse (who also didn't work weekends) and get back to me on the Monday. On the Monday morning I spoke with FedEx customer service who said the items would be delivered that day and I had an email confirming a morning delivery. They also said that they would speak with the depot manager to ensure my items were delivered that day. And, when I asked why I kept getting emails telling me my items were being delivered that same day, but never were, I was told they were system generated emails and were part of the system performance metrics, so that's OK then...just make promises you can't fulfil. Again I waited in all day on Monday. Again nothing, until 18:30'ish in the evening when I received a really useful email telling me my delivery was delayed. Being one jump ahead, I had already called FedEx customer service before their office closed and told them that my items still had not arrived and that I wanted to complain strongly about the fact that FedEx kept sending me emails telling me they would be. The lady promised to pass on my complaint. Yeah? Also on the Monday evening I received an email from FedEx telling me my next order was going to be delivered on Tuesday. On Tuesday morning I received a telephone call from a lovely lady in FedEx head office in Belgium apologising for the non-delivery of my items. When I told her that my complaint was not about the non-delivery (I wasn't in a hurry for the parts) but rather the time wasting nature of the emails I kept receiving promising a delivery which never happened. She promised to stay in touch with the depot to ensure my items were delivered that same day, Tuesday, and would contact me again on the Wednesday morning. At about 16:40 on Tuesday I happened to look out of my window to see a hooded figure, clad all in black, lurking behind my garage. I went out to accost them but they had already disappeared. However, hidden behind my garage were the two deliveries I had been waiting in for. No knock on the door, no notification that my items were finally delivered, just abandoned in the dark. On the Wednesday morning I received a nice email from the lady in Belgium saying she was pleased that my items had been delivered and hoped that all was no OK. I thanked her for her support but reported that my items were not so much delivered as abandoned. She was surprised and said she would speak with the depot manager. Eventually she cam back to me and apologetically told me that despite the depot having failed to deliver on two separate days, they sent the items out with a new hire who had not received any training. That is how much Rubberduck's customers meant to FedEx, who are the only courier company they can get to deliver the long items such as 2.4m trims. In a nutshell then, Rubberduck sales and customer service 10/10 Rubberduck despatch 8/10 Small courier companies 10/10 FedEx, possibly the best known courier company in the world, 1/10 with a solid 10/10 for the head office representative who did her best to handle an already bad situation. None of the items I ordered have been installed yet so I will review them individually as they get fitted.

Decent product at a decent price. Good comms when I had to query contents of what I received. Could have been avoided completely had there been anything close to decent instructions, together with a list of items to be expected.

Boards were damaged when arrived. They had been dropped in transit and the corner all 7 boards were broken at one corner. When contacted customers service they told me it was acceptable damage TO THEM and basically I just had to suck it up. Funny they dont mention this in their advertising material. I cut the broken bits of which left me short for the coverage I needed. So ended up in B&Q buying what I needed finish the job.

Good morning Derek, We're very sorry to hear you've not been too happy with a recent order. When reaching out to the manufacturer about your query, they kindly explained that the items purchased are non-decorative building materials that are covered in place once installed. They can exhibit some minor damage to the edges, given how they are manufactured and transported. Any minor damage to the edges would be negated without the need for any extra work or reducing the integrity of the product by the sealing tapes/compound used during installation. This is also detailed in the manufacturer installation guide provided too and would not invalidate any warranty provided. Apologies again that you were not happy with the service.
