“I recently bought an ironing board cover from Roys of Wroxham. The cover is a Sophie Allport Bee design cover which is really lovely quality. I had spent a long time looking for the perfect cover for my wife who is Bee mad and didn't want a fussy/busy iron board cover when she has to iron... The quality is great, fits easy (need slight adjustment in the middle) and looks the part (an aesthetic Bee design). Roys delived as expected and cost less that at Amazon, even with postage. Very happy with this purchase.”

“I stumbled upon Roys because of the price point of the product I was looking for. But…you have done a really good job, on your home page, of expressing the values of Roys. I was drawn in to read about your history and even fancied a trip to Wroxham because of your picture of the lakes and swans. (I had to google where that was). It felt very clear that Roys supports its own community which encouraged me to purchase from you over a major digital retailer. In a time when major department stores are disappearing, it seems you are doing a wonderful job of establishing the value of a local, family-run store. The transaction was exactly as expected, and the item arrived really quickly. I was further impressed by the lack of plastic packaging and the card stapled to my invoice explaining returns. Your content (website, email communications, invoice cards) comes across as highly authentic, along with the expected reliability and directness needed to complete a quick transition. The only thing I thought could be tweaked is to establish a language which also underpins that authenticity. The email communications could feel a little more like conversing with one of your in-store employees. I don’t live local but felt connected to your company, yet the language of the communications was slightly cool. You have don’t a fantastic job on establishing Roys brand, a content strategy incorporating language would be the cherry on top.”
