“We explicitly unticked the box for marketing emails. I've had to unsubscribe from a marketing mailbox and a review request since. -I've been asked to revise my review by this company so here is my amendments On the 23rd July I placed an order with Ross Handling. We have used Ross Handling before. Since we recently changed our email management system to a different domain, this was the first order under the new email with a new inbox. I make an effort to maintain a clean inbox without excess spam, I make the extra effort to make sure I don't subscribe to marketing emails. I already know how much marketing Ross Handling sends out and wished to avoid this. However, on the 24th July I received a marketing email to the new email and promptly unsubscribed. Then on the 30th July I received a request for a review. At this time I left the above review. They're sending you marketing emails without permission. Following this I have received an email from the customer service team telling me I unsubscribed on the 24th and haven't received anything since. Point completely missed there, I suppose. They asked me to amend my review because clearly, they thought I was wrong. Products are good and prices are comparable with everyone else in the space. Just need to sort out the predatory email campaign practices.”
