“Excellent outdoor clothing range - practical, comfortable and with some style. I particularly like the fact that the sizing for women extends to those of us who are taller and larger, but still active and enjoy the outdoors!”

“Usually high quality garments, although quite expensive and as a result I always purchase in the sale or with offers. Some of the more recent items appear to be just following fashion and therefore forgetting there core customers. Some recent trousers have been skimpy and thin. I found the “Grand Tour Chino” an excellent trouser, but no longer available, and the replacements a cheap compromise.”

“I like Rohan goods and have quite a few trousers and fleeces. I’ve just received a pair of Traverse trousers bought in the sale. Not for the first time have I found Rohan’s quality control somewhat lacking. Although the trousers are clearly labelled 36S the legs are probably 3 inches longer than they should be. Now I have the inconvenience of having to return them. Come on Rohan, you’re spoiling your reputation here.”

“We buy quite a lot of Rohan outdoor clothing. It is usually good quality, pleasant to wear and fairly attractive. It is also quite expensive but it is robust and resilient so wears well. My only disappointment was a jacket bought in the end of season sale which proved to be thin, and unsatisfactory”

“When I needed to contact Rohan the staff were very professional and helpful. Unfortunately I was very disappointed in the Troggings. I am a size 12 short but these were too long and too baggy in the thigh area.”

“Recently bought three shirts which were on offer and although they fitted very well I found that the poppers were not very strong at holding the shirts closed. I would suggest that buttonholes and buttons would be a better job.”

“Excellent, long-lasting products for daily use as well as for more adventurous activities. The reviewer profiles on your website seem to indicate that very few younger people purchase Rohan (or have the time to submit reviews). It does give the impression that Rohan is a brand for old folk. You know your market but they will die sooner! Brighter colours for men’s wear might be worth trying. Currently beige and navy seem to dominate.”

“Product was very good but I felt hassled when I was picking up the product and looked around the shop. This was very unusual for the Guildford branch as the normal staff were not there.”

“These are the 2nd pair I have purchased. They are comfortable and as it gets colder they keep my legs warm in the colder, windier conditions. I wear them for golf and so far I have avoided heavy rain so can't vouch for how waterproof they are.”

“I came to Rohan late in life 5 years ago. 70% of my clothes now come from Rohan. Over the last 3 years I have spent over £2600 with the company. I like the clothes which are well made, comfortable, and good for home and travel. I expect to continue to spend in the hundreds not the thousands. But I am 72 years old. When my son, aged 43, was choosing a winter coat which would be warm and waterproof, he opted for Rab not Rohan. This may not be typical and I am clear the Rohan was better VFM. However the brand identity heavily influenced this particular sale.”

“Picked up on sale. Very good all round, nice hood, nice fit, do a lot of walking so very practical, big pockets and pack feature is very useful. It is waterproof. Not as crispy as a goretex. Second Rohan jacket I own. Recommend. To make it perfect it would need an inside pocket, maybe venting zips at the pits, slightly longer at the back to cover the backside and slightly longer at the cuffs on the back of hand. But I got this jacket at a bargain. So these aren’t complaints they are suggestions for future development.”

“Being of the older age group, your clothing is perfect. Warm, comfortable, easy care. Trouble is you’ve got to know when to buy. As soon as the sale sign appears, i’m on the case. I found the perfect top for hubby, nicely reduced, and pounced. A few days later, the price had gone down even more. Aargh. Still think all your stuff is good though”

“The items I bought were very good. I have always found Rohan clothes of a good quality and long lasting. As an off road cyclist I would like to see some Rohan clothes and accessories more appropriate to this activity. I'm sure there is a market for this. My only criticism would be that the colour range of the clothes tends to be dull. Brighten up a bit.”

“My second pair, the first being over 20 years old and no longer waterproof though otherwise ok. They worked well though chafed when carrying a 20kg rucksack for some reason! My only niggle is that they are now held by a popper rather than a button and it is not really up to the job.”
