“The grey Kielder shirt was a welcome surprise in that the image did not do it justice and the feel of a quality cool climate shirt. However, the Dalby was put in the shade by the Kielder so whilst OK not the same value for the same money. So four star Keilder three star Dalby. Rohan ought to stop charging for delivery for higher value orders in line with the competition.”

“The clothes are great and usually of high quality. Ordering and delivery is efficient and problems are promptly dealt with. I would have given five stars but 1. My partner is tall and often very nice tops are often too short in arms and body 2. Gift cards and catalogues are not consistent. Sometimes I get them. Sometimes my daughter does. We don’t live together!”

“It is warm even in winter have worn it in cold winds at 450m high on a hill did not feel the cold wind whilst moving, what is really good about this item it packs away in its on pocket so it takes no room in your rucksack or you easily have it in your bumbag”

“Customer service was very helpful when I needed to return my purchaser as the size I ordered was incorrect. Regrettably, the mitts I purchased (https://www.rohan.co.uk/mens/accessories-polar-mitts?ocode=05951595&cr=suggest) are causing me problems. I suffer from Reynauds Disease and was not aware that each finger within the mitts is separated. This exacerbates my problem and whenever I have bought mitts previously, I have ensured that the fingers are all within the main body of the mitt and are not separated. That way the blood circulates around my fingers better and maintains heat. It would be helpful if the exact design of the polar mitts is included in the description.”

“Rowan stuff is generally excellent, especially their merino clothing. Their shirts fit well but are not, in my experience, very comfortable in hot climates as they don't wick properly. Bags by contrast are very comfortable in hot conditions due to their cotton content. Customer service is excellent”

“On all other occasions I could not fault the service and quality of Rohan. However this time you sent one boot instead of the pair of boots ordered. I realise this was an isolated lapse but perhaps you could put into place a system where, for example, any footwear item used for display is returned to the appropriate box.”

“Rohan you asked for my feedback so please consider the following: I have been purchasing Rohan products for just over 10 years now and liked both the quality of the garments and their practicality. Personally, I think recently Rohan have started to lose direction in relation to what Rohan customers want and like. Changing well known traditional styles and making things like pockets non practical and almost pointless is alienating your customer base. Rohan, stick to what you are good at, keep your loyal customers and don’t follow trends that are pointless. You used to make some great clothing that people would buy because it was practical and of good quality. I think your main target market is the age range 50 plus, embrace this age group and stop trying to attract a younger age group, as people get older, they want comfortable and practical clothing that looks good but not necessarily fashion and trend orientated, this does not mean that your items need to be bland and colourless and I hope you find a way to keep both loyal customer and find new ones.”

“This merino jumper is excellent. The fit is a little snug compared to the jumper I bought earlier in the year though they are sized the same, despite that I am happy with my purchase.”

“After years of thinking Rohan were overpriced for outdoor gear, the shirts I've bought (in the sale) this last year have proven excellent - well-fitting, quick-drying and good under breathable layers. May even be convinced to look at 'bags' in the future'.”
