We were selling and buying a property through Robert Ellis. They provided an excellent service throughout the process. A special thanks to Caroline who was brilliant and ensured the sale and purchase went through within or specified time scale. Holly Torr managed our house purchase throughout and we were extremely impressed with her work. We could always get hold of her for anything we wanted to ask, she always updated us of anything we needed to do or know and made the process go very easily.

Where to start... Due to the contacts they had and an immediate email campaign of our house, we sold in two days! From getting a valuation and past exchanging contracts the staff at Robert Ellis were fantastic. Always friendly, polite and understanding when you speak to them. My direct contact was Debbie Marlow, and what an excellent asset she is to Robert Ellis, she explained the process as we went along, she never forgot to keep us in the loop, and she put us first when there were some complications, she alone was worth the money, let alone all the other friendly amazing staff. In short, don’t skimp by going the DIY route for selling your house, it’s really not worth it in the grand scheme of things, just use Robert Ellis!

The 5 star service given by Debbie Marlow the sales negotiator at the stapleford branch, through a very testing sale was second to none. Keeping in touch and updating us on everything that was happening was brilliant and we believe we’re very fortunate to have such a dedicated person handling our sale and seeing things through to the sale of our old home and the completion of our new home Thankyou Debbie you are a star 🌟

Everything about my purchase and move went very smoothly. Sam was very helpful and friendly - as well as very competent! Robert Ellis were very responsive to my emails and enquiries; very swift in arranging a viewing; and very helpful throughout the purchasing negotiations.

Our experience of seeking and obtaining rented accommodation through Robert Ellis has surpassed all expectations, due mainly to the excellent “beyond-the-call-of-duty” work of Lettings Negotiator Amy Sanderson at the Stapleford Office. Our situation was an awkward one because our move is from mainland Europe, but Amy’s understanding and guidance were perfect – her knowledge and insights and her liaisons with landlords were invaluable, and she stayed in constant touch, always with the right balance of personal and professional. Amy made sure that, on the one day we could visit Nottingham to view properties, we’d have a well-planned schedule to see as many as possible. She even came into the office on her day off so that we could meet! The Robert Ellis experience was further enriched by the superb work of Lettings Negotiator Joe Marzano (Beeston Office), showing us around each of the properties in turn, with a professionalism, patience and grace that belie his young years. Both Amy and Joe are real credits to Robert Ellis, and they clearly have a great team around them – I cannot imagine anyone could be disappointed when using their incredible talents and service.

Debbie at Robert Ellis Stapleford, was Brilliant. Professional, friendly extremely helpful, in what has been a quite stressful, purchase which i hasten to add had nothing to do with Robert Ellis.

A repair was needed on my property - it was my fault that there was a complication which resulted in a delay in the repair for my poor tenant Jordan sorted everything out very quickly - highly efficient and so polite. Well done and many thanks again Jordan Duke!

The electrician was lovely - arrived on time, very polite and got the job done. However - it took over a week for him to come! and considering the electrics were tripping my house alarm every 2 hours day and night that's a ridiculous time to wait. Thankfully a neighbor found the source of the problem. After informing the estate agent with an update of what my neighbor had done, when the electrician came up he was completely unaware of this.

The actual engineer is great - very friendly and quick at his job. Robert Ellis are not so quick - it took me 4 phonecalls until someone actually booked the job for the engineer to come out, and we have had similar issues in the past with delays on urgent housing problems.

I rang Robert Ellis' office to report a problem. Was put straight through to Jordan Duke who took all the details of the job and said I'd receive a call from a tradesman who would arrange with me a convenient time to call and sort the repair. The next day I received a call from Martin who then came out a couple of of days later. He was a really nice guy who did a professional job. It wasn't an urgent repair but it was still acted on quickly. Very pleased.

Jordan Duke! Amazing service. I reported a boiler issue recently and this was fixed within hours. His emails were prompt, professional and reassuring. It felt like he personally was taking care of the situation. Having a named person and face is very reassuring. Brilliant service. He also pushed for some tweaks to the property to make my house even better. I am one very happy tenant!!!

Purchased a property through the Long Eaton branch and, though the process itself wasn't completely smooth sailing, we had the pleasure of dealing with Holly who went above and beyond throughout. Any enquiries we made were dealt with immediately and effectively by Holly. Same day replies to emails. Very flexible on timings and dates when visiting the property. We did have a wobble part way through the process which I'd have to put down as a miscommunication between the Seller and Robert Ellis. This is the only reason I haven't rated the review 5/5. However, this was in no way related to Holly and therefore overall I have to say I'm impressed and pleased with the customer service.
