“Always loved and purchased Ringtons tea my grandmother before me when she lived near Algernon Road I was a child then I now live in the Midlands and still buy Ringtons tea only Decaffeinated now its the best around I love your biscuits I think ive tasted every packet they are so tasty.....but im afraid your cakes have been unsuccessful with us finding the lemon cake both dry and tasteless and the tea cake much the same very dry....but never mind we had what was left with custard.....”

“I love ringtons,easy to order and very pleasant staff, I only drink coffee and if I need to get tea it has to be decaf my only criticism is that the hampers they do don't do decaf tea and not much coffee one's and I wish they did more dark chocolate stuff x”

“I had bought the chocolate brazils from a ringtons van that was in the area and although the box is small I was very impressed as they were as close as you can get to the famous paynes Brazil's of yesteryear in taste. Some people have said the ringtons ones are expensive for the size of the box but hopefully when cocoa prices fall then maybe we will get a bigger box.
On the strength of the Brazil's 9/10 I decided to send for a mail order and as well as the excellent Brazil's I got the chocolate Turkish delight also very good 9/10 , the chocolate reward biscuits which for me wasn't a winner I ordered 2 boxes and the 1st box seemed to taste stale and I did wonder if the fact they didn't have gluten had anything to do with the taste as they looked ok so I tried the 2nd box and the taste wasn't a lot different disappointing and I would rate them 5/6 out of 10. I also got the gold chocolate wafers which are chunky and very nice with a brew 8/10.
And finally I bought the decaf tea bags which are very nice 9/10 and finally the seville marmalade which I have not tried yet but I'm sure will be nice.
The main reason I've knocked off the odd point is because the quantity of product verse the price is an issue your buying a product more as a change of taste and something different rather than something I would order on a regular basis because with supermarket offers because of their size of buying power you can get a better product cheaper such as a Mcvites signature collection biscuit currently £1.25 on offer and they are a definite 10/10.
So I would say in closing ringtons is worth a go and the chocolate Brazils I will purchase again as there are none better out there , and probably an area to go into the old favourites of yesteryear as a lot of the sweets and treats have either gone down a route of changing recipes using cheaper chocolate or dropping lines altogether and this could be an area ringtons could exploit as it is worth paying for a product that's far better or that you can no longer get anywhere else such as a variety of liqueur chocolate that used to be available in bottles which didn't have the thick sugar coating inside which you could get up until I think the 1980s and they may have been dutch and available in the UK they were delicious.”

The reason we don’t offer these permanently is simply due to limited space on our delivery vans. To make sure we can carry enough of our core everyday range for all customers, we have to be selective about what we can stock all year.
Seasonal and speciality treats are brought in at certain times so they don’t take space away from the products most customers rely on regularly.
The challenge with limited edition products is that, by their nature, they are produced in a fixed quantity. Once they have sold through, we often can’t simply order more. When forecasting demand, especially for new products with no sales history, we rely on the best information available at the time, including input from managers across the business.
The last couple of years or so we have deliberately moved towards offering fewer additional lines but in greater volume, which has helped improve availability overall. However, there will always be occasions where a product exceeds expectations and sells out earlier than planned, just as there are occasions where demand is lower than forecast.
We are constantly reviewing our processes and learning from every promotion to improve future forecasts. While running out of a popular product is frustrating, it is often a sign that we’ve launched something customers genuinely love, and that’s something we want to continue building on.
That said, we really appreciate you letting us know you’d like to see these items more often, and I’ll make sure your feedback is passed on to our product and planning teams.
