“I have been buying from Ringtons for many years and have always been satisfied with whatever I have bought but unfortunately in my last order I made a mistake and instead of ordering the ginger snap biscuits (Which I have done many times) I inadvertently ordered ginger snap tea which I did not like. I have been in touch to inform you of this but was told that if I returned them then I would be reimbursed the remaining cost but unfortunately the postage of £4 odd did not justify the cost and further postage to reorder.”

We are pleased to hear that you have always been satisfied with your purchases, and we are sorry to learn that, on this occasion, you accidentally ordered the Ginger Snap Tea instead of the Ginger Snap Biscuits that you usually enjoy.
We completely understand your disappointment, particularly as the cost of returning the tea would have reduced the value of any refund received. We appreciate that this must have been frustrating.
Whilst we were happy to offer a refund for the product upon its return, unfortunately we are unable to reimburse return postage costs. As a business, we are not able to absorb these charges, and therefore our policy is that customers are responsible for the cost of returning unwanted items unless the product is faulty or has been supplied incorrectly.
We appreciate that this was a genuine ordering mistake and are sorry that we were unable to provide the outcome you had hoped for on this occasion. However, we do value your feedback and your many years of custom.
