“Disappointed white chocolate and lemon cookies out of stock in the cookie bundle . No update on your website . Got over that . Super pleased with the prompt delivery . Sadly chocolate mallows arrived bashed..... This must be third or fourth time this has happened have resigned myself to not ordering them any more . Sam your customer service advisor offered me replacement or refund . Took the refund . So far the rest of the order is undamaged and totally delicious . Had this not happened it would've been 5 stars”
Hi Carol,
Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback.
I'm very sorry for the disappointment caused by the white chocolate and lemon cookies being out of stock within the cookie bundle.
Mallows can be a bit tricky when it comes to travelling, they’re soft, delicate, and sometimes don’t handle the journey as well as we’d like. We do mention this on our website, but we completely understand how disappointing it must be to receive them less than perfect.
I'm glad that Sam was able to offer a resolution and arrange a refund for the damaged item, although I appreciate this does not make up for the inconvenience and disappointment caused.
Thank you again for your feedback and your valued custom. We're delighted that the remainder of your order was undamaged and "totally delicious".
Kind regards,
Team Ringtons
Good morning,
Thank you so much for your kind review. I completely understand how disappointing it may be that we no longer offer English Breakfast Loose Tea.
The closest alternative we can currently recommend is our "Northumbrian Loose Tea".
“Northumbrian Loose Tea is a hearty blend made from Assam teas grown in the Brahmaputra Valley in Northeast India, combined with brisk and bright teas from the highlands of Kenya. With its robust, sweet and malty flavour, this strong and refreshing tea is designed to invigorate and can be enjoyed at any time of day”
“While the leaf in the Northumbrian Gold blend is slightly smaller than that of the English Breakfast Loose Tea, the two are quite similar in strength and flavour profile. The most noticeable difference tends to be in appearance once milk is added. Northumbrian Gold produces a richer red-gold colour in the cup, whereas the English Breakfast blend brews to a slightly paler shade.”
As the Northumbrian Gold blend uses a slightly smaller leaf, we would recommend using a 35-40 mesh tea strainer. This mesh size is fine enough to catch the smaller tea particles, helping to keep your cup clear, while still allowing plenty of room for the leaves to unfurl and release their full flavour.
We truly appreciate your loyalty to our loose leaf teas and apologise again for any disappointment this change may cause. We do hope you'll enjoy trying our Northumbrian Loose Tea as an alternative.
Kind regards,
Team Ringtons
“I had problems trying to order online due a fault on your website.
I reported this to Ringtons via telephone.
The receptioniest was very polite and completed my order during the telephone call.”

“Very happy with the online service. My order arrived quickly and was well packaged, and I much prefer being able to order online without having to deal with claggy-bottomed salesmen at my door trying to push rubbish I don’t want!
My only criticism is the use of Royal Mail for deliveries. It’s a shame that an otherwise modern online service relies on such a dated delivery service, so customers should be aware that deliveries can be affected by weekends, bank holidays, strikes over pay, and the various other snail-mail excuses that can crop up. A more reliable courier service would make the experience even better.”
Thank you for your review, Timothy. We’re glad the online service and packaging met your expectations, and we appreciate your feedback about the Royal Mail deliveries.
Kind regards,
Team Ringtons
