I have used this company for many years with no problems. I and my family have spent £1000's of pounds with this company. Ordered these two items and I still have not received them. Despite using the same postal address and LE12 post code they got posted to Ireland and then I was told I had to pay an import tax. I contacted REGTONS and was told it was my fault! I was then informed that REGTONS had been working on the web and had some issues to resolve. Ironically the Irish could see that it need delivering to an LE12 post code! I was told not to pay the import tax and to notify the customs via there web site which I did, I was told that as soon as that was done a new parcel would be sent out. I still haven't received the items and despite emailing REGTONS I have not had the courtesy of a reply , explanation , an apology or my goods. I have since ordered the items from Crawford Metal Detectors, I got the items within two days and received fantastic customer service. I will be emailing REGTONS AGAIN to now cancel my order, sorry but I will never use you again, the customer service has been terrible!!!!!!

With this order the customer had entered Ireland into his address. An automated shipping label and Royal Mail postage are generated from the customer supplied information. In Ireland it was noted that the address was incorrect and and Irish post office confirmed to the customer they were sending him his parcel to him. At this point we thought this was concluded. A week later we have been informed that he has not revieved the item and we have refunded in full as requested. There is an email trail to confirm all of this. We can see that there are lessons to be learned from this, which we have actioned to prevent such an occurance from happeneing again.

Terrible service blaming me for my mi6 pinpointer for water and dirt ingress

Helo Ian, we are sorry you feel ths way. Your Mi6 pinpointer was tested and found to be waterproof by submersion in water. Therefore the only way water and dirt can get past the cap seals is if the cap is not fitted correctly after charging. We offered and you accepted to clean your pin pointer fit a new circuit board and replaced the lithium battery at a fraction of the cost of a new Mi6

Hello Agnieszka. I've just looked at your order which was despatched via Royal Mail 24 but we were unaware you had not received your lead until this review. I can see that you are in Ireland & indeed it should have been delivered by now so we will despatch a replacement today if that's OK, apologies for the delay. Hello Glen I'm sorry you felt the need to give us only one star regarding the purchase of your ML EQ900. We monitor all dealers in UK & can confirm no-one was cheaper, that particular machine didn't have any BF offers from Minelab whilst other machines in the ML range did indeed have offers together with other brands. We provided you with a still picture from CCTV of YOUR package in packing room showing you that the part was indeed inside the package when it was packed & sent to your 'friend' who then sent it onto you, I think you need to speak to your 'friend' again..........

Hello BW. You had an issue with a probe you purchased from us, we replaced the entire innards under warranty. You now say you have exactly the same issue despite it being effectively a different probe, we arranged for a collection at no cost to yourself, this was only picked up the day before Coronation weekend and should be back to us today (first day after Bank Holiday). As was discussed, once inspected it will be refunded if there is a fault found with the probe, please be patient.

My son saved up his money to buy a probe which was faulty from the start , we had to pay ourselves to send it back , it was supposed to be repaired but the same fairy was occurring,terrible customer service Marcus tried to tell my son it was a user error , would not recommend.

Hello BW. At no time did we say it was user error, Marcus went through the operation of the probe with your Son & confirmed it was NOT user error. We have arranged for collection which took place the day after we spoke (day before Coronation Bank Holiday) & you have written this review before we have even seen the probe or been able to action the refund.

Ordered 2 separate things from Regtons which were faulty , the manager was rude and arrogant not customer friendly at all no I would not recommend.

Poor communication with shop 😢 😪 😕 No one inform about extra cost sending abroad goods. It might be reson that loads costumers won't buy if they knew pay extra. Should be introduced exta charges when checking out.

Sadly this is not our fault, we are not in EU. As you bought from outside UK you were not charged Tax as the goods were exported, it is likely Irish Customs would have charged you tax, often it works out a similar price to UK price with tax though.

Phoned to buy replacement pin pointer and inform them of issues with 17 month old one purchased from them to be accused of all sorts by Marcus and given no chance to explain as he let me have an earful down the phone. Business now going else where pity customer service was not as good as there selling / Delivery side.

Hello John Just to reiterate the conversation regarding your probe, I also replied via e-mail showing a picture of your probe & a new probe clearly demonstrating the amount of wear this probe had endured. Sadly wear & tear are not covered by any manufacturer. You mentioned you had only used it 4 times due to Covid and that you had previously had a protection cover fitted that had subsequently worn out & removed. You suggested we must have sold you a fake unit, you were also going to go to social media and rubbish us unless we replaced it under warranty. Pictures speak a thousand words.

Just called to ask advice regarding updates on my metal detector, was spoken to by a very rude customer service advisor, who advised me abruptly, twice, to look in my user manula for instructions that weren't even there, will not be calling again

Delivered with fittings missing. Several calls and false promises later and still we are waiting. Very didsapointed as was purchased as a gift. Apparently they were sent last week recorded delivery......

Hello Michelle, apologies, we now know what this was regarding. the manufacturer had omitted the nut & bolt for coil attachment, you contacted us a few day later & we sent a fitting kit that day First Class, sadly the house number was missing from the order & the nut/bolt was returned to us, we then sent it Royal Mail guaranteed next day delivery on Friday for delivery today.

Packing looks good but inside not all items are secured, books are bend, coil loose, can understod i not bay full xp pack but the item shut be better secured not happy at all

Hello Zygmunt, sorry to hear about the poor packing, I'm going to ring you to see if we need to replace anything, these detectors come from the manufacturer in this way but rarely do we have any damaged items.
