Phoned up to order a set of headphones and had no problems of understanding the salesperson, but she seems to not be unable to distinguish a three from an eight even though the two numbers are completely different sounds. I understand that I have a Geordie accent but it is unacceptable that I have to repeat myself numerous times. It got to a point where I was saying the numbers out in long hand such as six thousand three hundred and thirty one and she still repeats back a number 8. It got to a stage I was counting up from 1 to 10 and emphasising the number 3 loudly and she still repeated back 8. Not acceptable.

Bought spade , perfect , mi6 prob , faulty or just not very good ! Was told to sell on as they don’t take back used items ( 2 hours max ) Opend PayPal claim and still Waitting reply’s , wouldn’t recommend ( just want to return for refund )

Hello Daniel, as previously explained, we do not take back or in part exchange used items when you've changed your mind, that's unreasonable. We suggested that if you thought the item was faulty in some way to send it in & indeed if the item was faulty we would refund you & your return postage. I'm sorry you felt the need to publicise this.

i ordered a new pinpointer from the shop and it was ment too be delivered by DPD but the item never arrived i asked regton to cancel the order dew to non delivery they requested dpd return there order that is only six miles from regtons office i still have not received a refund from regton

Hello John, I've taken a look at your order & sadly it was caught up in the Black Friday rush, the carriers let you/us down on that occasion, sorry. You requested we cancel the delivery which we did & are still awaiting return of the probe back to us, in the meantime, we have refunded as requested. I haven't published your picture as you left your full address on show. Just for your information, all carriers are having problems all over the country due to postal strikes diverting loads more parcels to alternative carriers, your city in particular has huge problems with backlog.

I never received my package also I logged onto your web site to buy a pinpointer and found you were charging me £20, which is daylight robbery, so I got it from LP instead, £4 to get what I did buy from you then I don’t get it, think I’ll go elsewhere in future

Hello Sean, thank you for your feedback & I'm sorry we couldn't help you with the carriage cost on a probe, we use carriers rather than Royal Mail for higher value items hence the higher carriage but glad you got sorted. The small parts that you ordered from us to repair a probe you say have not turned up yet? sadly this is the first we have been made aware of the non-delivery so were not aware.

Firstly my order was not through eBay but a direct call to yourselves. I enquired about the outer casing and ribbon cable for WS4 headphones as I was sure there was two versions. I was told they were all the same so ordered only to find that it was not a direct fit and had to modify (void warranty) to enable them to work. Had no choice really which was the same for the extortionate flat rate postal cost of £7.50. Now ordered a complete WS4 from your main competitor (although supplied to them through you) with a postal cost of £3.95. Staff training and a good look at your postal rates for small items need to be looked at before I return

Ordered a WS4 outer case with ribbon cable. Three times I asked the guy if this fitted the first edition WS4 headphones which he insisted they did. When they arrived they were completely different and had to make them fit with the aid a dremel to file parts off and make slots for the mini USB and rubber cover. After the amount of years being the UK XP distributor the staff should know the machine better than the customer

Hello Steven, Apologies regarding the wrong advice being given regarding your WS4 headphone part, the original version was only out for a very short period of time around 14yrs ago, I have the same version. The older version hasn't been available for around 12yrs and most converted to the later specification. Didn’t like the way they sold the Deus, I wanted to order and pay upfront, You said only buy online on release date. Waited till release date could not get through I eventually emailed yourselves and the answer I got was you can only ring now as internet has crashed. 60 call later I got one . Just a lot of stress to buy my first ever metal detector. Ps I think the assembly for the arm which attaches to the coil is flimsy as you have to really tighten it to stay in position. Should of made it were you have teeth once you turn the wing nut they clamp together.

Hello Paul Totally agree with your comments regarding the way DII was rolled out, sorry it was stressful but glad you managed to get one as we 'think' there were 20 people chasing each unit which gives us one happy customer & 19 unhappy, despite reinforcing our website the sheer volume simply overwhelmed it, lessons learnt & will not try that again. Can you ring us with stem, handle & coil to hand, we just need to check you have assembled correctly as you shouldn't need to tighten the coil to stem assembly to get it to grip, just need to check, please. bought a battery has i would have lost my detector for another week after returning with a battery fault was still in warrenty as failed after a cupple of trips out if i had would have known it would take a week to check my battery out would have bought one from the start warranty not worth a light lost more not having my detector not worth the hassle for £36 or whatever it was

I phoned you last week to tell you that you had sent me the wrong item. No problem, but there was no offer of free postage to send the wrong item back to change. The first postage was quick and well packed but disappointed with overall service

Hello Paul, Ive just looked into your message you sent us & our response, you commented on the 'unfettled & sharp edges' to the mid point Evolution grip you purchased from us, our reply was that we would forward your comments to the manufacturer, not dismissive at all. We have not received any reply as yet. I can add to this though, all Evolution products are laser cut for accuracy & yes indeed it leaves sharp edges on all of their products, they do not de-burr edges as that would increase the selling price further, I can assure you we were not being dismissive in any way & sorry you received our reply that way.

I belong to a small museum. We dig for World War II crashed planes. I bought the TN 808 to assist with the search. The assembly was easy, but I'm finding it difficult to get the ground balance and signal balance set up correctly. In auto mode I had no success whatsoever. There are no instructions on how deep it will penetrate and I am not sure it will do the job as all the videos I have seen regarding the TM 808 have shown it picking on top of the ground, not buried.

Hi Ken, just read your comments regarding the TM808, sadly you have reviewed our Company rather than the product with that rating, product reviews are also on there...... You will never see how deep any genuine detector goes as there are so many variables such as ground conditions, type of metal, orientation of object & of course size of object. generally speaking the larger the object the further away you can detect it, ground setting is indeed key to getting the most from the TM808. I would set up in non-auto & then aim to get very little increase or decrease when lowering the coil to the ground, when you are close to no change then switch over to automatic as that will keep it all under control from then on, hope that helps. Hello anonymous, I'm sorry you are disappointed in our postal charge which indeed on very small items is expensive, we base our rates on value of order. The jiffy bag would be around 80 pence & postal charge is not letter it's large letter so I think if you try to post the same item you will be surprised just how much it costs.

Tried to order a metal detector book, but credit card not accepted. Gave up in the end and bought it from another retailer . Also the Regton web site requires a refresh/ updated with a new look and easier to navigate.
