“I ordered a blazer in size 44" to replace the one my soon has but it's come up smaller and can't be done up , I got he's first blazer from uniform wise and the blazer fitted perfectly but the one I received from you has come up smaller , he goes to woodlands secondary school in Basildon, I don't have the invoice so I can't send it back so I'm stuck with it and hoping my son doesn't need to do it up as I don't have much money so can't afford to get the next size up .”

Good morning Clare As a new supplier of Woodlands School, I believe that we use a different manufacturer for our blazers to the previous suppliers and we are sorry to hear that the sizing is a little different. We do urge our customers to contact us if there are any issues with their order as it is our aim to help our customers as much as possible. I can assure you that if you had contacted us we would not have refused an exchange for you as you are within your returns period (assuming the item is 'as new' with the tags still in place). In terms of any additional cost for the next size up, again, please do not hesitate to contact us, as we are able to source a larger size and there would be no additional cost for a larger size.

“The personalised reindeer T-shirts were very good quality (true sizing) and gratefully received as a pre-Xmas present. The only negative comment would be that they took 14 days to arrive. This was within the stated delivery time (7-14 days), so no problem, but would have been good to receive them earlier. The kids love them though! :) Merry Xmas!”

Thank you Caroline for your positive review. It is difficult to fast-track personalised items, as there are several process that an item will need to go through before it can be despatched but we do take your comments on board and we are super pleased that the kids loved them :):)

“I am still waiting for my package and it has been nearly a month since I ordered the item. No tracking number on the package. I currently feel like I have paid £10 for a UoN hoodie and not going to get it or maybe in 2024?”

We are sorry to hear that you have had problems with your order. Due to the Christmas rush, we have had some slight delays in sending out some of the orders and unfortunately, yours was one of those orders. I can confirm however, that is was despatched via 1st Class Royal Mail on the 13th December. Whilst, we would ordinarily have expected this to have arrived with you by now, I feel that unfortunately, your package may have got caught up with the higher demand on the Royal Mail this time of year so we would kindly request you give it a little more time to arrive. If you have not received your package by the 27th December, please do email us on rowan@redoakroller.co.uk and let us know and we will get a replacement underway for you.

“I received my order within the delivery timeframe stated on the website and in my order confirmation email, which was great! When my order arrived, I realised there was print missing from it, so I used the website's enquiry form and got a response within 24 hours from a lovely person called Rowan. They sent me a brand new order with the print on it and said I could keep the incorrect order too! If I ever want a personalised hoodie or jumper again, I will definitely be purchasing from Red Oak! :)”

“I have ordered once before but it was before the children went back to school in September, and obviously the delivery was a bit longer BUT I ordered some more items for my grandson and I couldn't believe how quick the delivery was. That's taught me not to leave it until late in the 6 weeks holidays 🙂”

Hi Angela Thank you for taking the time to place your review. It is always nice to know when we get things right. Yes, as you can imagine, the summer holidays do get a little manic here, especially the last few weeks and that means despatch times are slower than usual. You're quite right, it is always advisable to get in early and avoid the worry of whether the uniform will arrive on time.

Good evening Pamela. Thank you for taking the time to submit your review. I am of course, sorry to hear that we haven't met your expectations with regards to service. I can see by your order that it was placed on the 16th September and was shipped on the 30th September. This is a little longer than we would have liked, however, it is within the 10-14 days stated on our website with regards to online ordering timeframe. Unfortunately, we were waiting on delivery of one of your items which is made to order for the school and as such, we could not send your order out immediately as we were waiting on stock.

“The sports bag is of good quality. It arrived in good time. It was also very easy to get in touch with the Sales team. To up sell, there could be an option to add names or initials. The bag is a good size and can be used for sports as well as a bag for travel.”

Glad you're pleased with both your purchase and the service received. We do offer the embroidery of intitals/names on some of our bags but this is dictated by the wishes of the school. In this instance, unfortunately, the school have not authorised personalisation.

“Delivery time is ridiculous (10-14 working days) And sizes aren’t in familiar. Each time when I place the order I need to check on the Google for accurate size. Still some sizes were out of stock. If out of stock how could we send our kids to school as no other suppliers there!”

Good morning Sangarapillai I would like to take a moment to respond to your review. School uniform such as that supplied for Oakfield School is often 'made to order' specifically for the school and this is the case with alot of items in your order. We allow 10-14 days for despatching of our online orders to allow us to try to source any sizes/items that we may not have in stock at the time but are able to pick up within a few days. We find this far more effective and reliable than having to constantly mark items temporarily out of stock, as particularly at this time of year, stock does move in and out within minutes/hours and it would be impossible to keep up with. Some items, due to the 'made to order' issue mentioned above, do have much longer lead times and this also allows us time to communciate with our suppliers to ensure we can give you as accurate as possible information if we should need to let you know it is out of stock. Using various manufacturers (in line with the school's requirements for their uniform) also means that the sizing will often be different from one garment to the next and as such, we do aim to put as much information as possible on our listings on our website (i.e. chest size, waist size) to enable you to measure and make the best choices. In addition to this, we do also have a shop you can visit so that you can try on the uniform (particularly for the first time) and either purchase and take away or order whilst in store.
