Considering the expense and the huge hike in postage price I would have expected to have received the item to arrive a lot sooner, these extraordinary high prices have never made sense but we do it for the children, which I've never had a problem with, but charging soo much, if at all for postage is ludicrous.

Thank you for taking the time to review and I am sorry you are disappointed with both the price and the service. If I could take a moment to explain. Leavers Hoodies are requested and arranged by the School and as such, it is the school who make the decision about the postage. With a lot of our schools, they actually receive the hoodies in bulk which saves the parents money on delivery. However, as this is quite a large secondary school, the administration involved in this would be quite time consuming for them. It is always difficult as a smaller business to compete with cheap and free delivery services of the larger companies such as Amazon but we simply cannot apply the cost savings that they would be able to. Our delivery costs take into account other aspects such as the time it takes to process / pack orders etc. In terms of the speed of delivery. Again, we have to leave the listing open for a period of time agreed with the school. This is because the leavers hoodies are a 'bulk produced' item so we have to wait for the listing to end before we can put into production. We do give as much information on this as possible on the listing itself and do clearly state both the Listing Closing date and the production time after this date.

Good Morning Qudsia. I am sorry you do not seem to have received your order. As stated on the listing, all leavers products were being sent to the school. Your order was sent to the school on the 26th June. Could you please speak with the school to locate your order. I am sorry they did not relay this to you as well.

They come up very skinny in size. Arms were long enough but even buying a small my son will grow out of it really quickly especially since its not jumper weather when they get sent out. They should do tshirts instead.

Thank you for your honest review and we are sorry you're not entirely happy with your purchase. Unfortunately, it is always difficult when buying items online as we only have limited measurements available from our suppliers and each child is individual in size. In relation to the T-shirts. We do specialise in both Leavers Hoodies and T-Shirts but we are governed by the wishes of the school or the hoodie co-ordinator as to what we are allowed to offer. We will feed your thoughts back to the school for next year.

Prompt and good service. Quality of jogging bottoms is poor considering how much they cost. The material is very thin and you can easily see through them without even holding up to the light.

I only needed a tie and feel the postage was too high. I would have happily waited for it to be dispatched to school (one of my other children’s schools does this) and saved on postage. The tie is fine!

The content of the order was ok. But it was very frustrating to not get any updates on the status of the order for two weeks. And in the end it looked like my order was stuck somewhere, because only upon calling Red Oak I got a notificaiton that my order has been shipped.

Love you guys ….. Quick service, great. But I only ordered a tie and was charged the full delivery cost of £5.95. The tie would fit in a standard envelope so I think the cost of delivery for one tie is over the top!

Hi Kathleen, Thank you for your review, and we are so happy that you love our products :-) We completely understand your point re postage, however £4.95 is just our standard delivery option which we can't change. We like to offer parents other options outside of our standard delivery. We have our physical shop and also come to schools with our pop up shop facility. We are also in the process of setting up a 'collect from store' option which should be live before the end of the year :-)

Staff absolutely brilliant and very helpful in the shop. I ordered a skirt 11-12yrs as the shop didn’t have the size to try on in the shop and told they are all in the pop up stalls, not exactly helpful when you go to the shop!. When it arrived it was the same size as the 9-10years I already had which was too short and told it would be 2 inches longer. Been back to the shop again to try the next size but didn’t have them available. Purchased the next size and will have to return again to try it on.

Thank you for taking the time to place your review and we are very pleased you have found the customer service element of your purchase so positive. I am sorry you seem to have had issues with purchasing your skirt. In order to cope with the increase in customers this time of year, we do have to rely on summer staff who unfortunately, aren't always as up to date with the products as we would like. With so many variants, it is quite a challenging task. Again, due to the time of year, we do also have an extraordinarily high turnover of products which can quite literally go in and out of stock within minutes depending on demand. We do try to keep items (particularly with the more popular sizes/colours/styles etc) as stocked as possible but with thousands of items available at any one time, it is quite an impossible task for us at times.

Good colour however size age 12 comes up very small, unsure it’ll still fit my child by the time July comes

We do try to put as much sizing information on the website as possible. I will however, look into whether we can add any further information as more of a guide in the future.

I paid for my daughter's leaving sweat shirt to be posted to my house, instead it was sent to the school. Why ask what I want if its ignored anyway. Paid £4.95 for what?

Thank you for your review and I am sorry to hear that you are disappointed with our service in this instance. We do give instructions to the school to pass on to the parents regarding ordering using the FREE school delivery option. I am sorry if the school did not pass these instructions on to you. The school DO NOT allow us to send these hoodies out individually and insist that they are given out at the school. Unfortunately, our website does not give the option to disable the facility to pay for delivery, which is why we are so careful to let the school have the instructions to save the parents delivery. If you had contacted us, we would have been more than happy to refund your delivery cost for you and of course, I will happily do so for you now.

Thank you for your review Helen. Unfortunately, the items you ordered are 'Made to Order' specifically for the school and as such, following the busy back to school period, we found ourselves out of one or two sizes. Made to order items can take months from ordering and unfortunately, the sizes in your items were ones that we had run out of at the end of the school holidays.

The hoodie itself was fine, but we didn't receive the right size which also ment I paid more for the large size, I ordered was more expensive then the 12/13 top I received. I would of sent it back but that would of ment my son wouldn't of had his leavers hoodie for his last week.

Good morning Donna Thank you for your review and I am really sorry to hear that you received the wrong size hoodie. Your order was packaged up and sent directly to the school as requested by them and I have just checked your paperwork at our end and it was a size Small that was sent to the school for you, along with your corresponding paperwork. I can only assume that somehow the sizes have got mixed up at the school.

I am really sorry to hear that the writing is peeling off of your leavers hoodie. This shouldn't happen but occasionally we do have problems with the odd item not curing properly during the printing process. It’s nice good quality but did find the sizing not that good asked for a large but thought it was more like XL and found the price a bit high I don’t think we should of had to pay postage I think as a bulk order for lots of students it should of been delivered to the school but on the whole the hoodie it’s self is good .

We are glad that you are happy with the quality of the hoodie, this is one of our most popular hoodies and we use it specifically due to it's quality and selection of colours and sizes. In relation to the sizing, we do try to give our customers as much information as possible by stating the measurements on our website. If you feel that this item isn't true to size, please let us know and we can take this up with our manufacturer. With regards to the delivery cost, the decision remains with the School as to whether they would like us to offer free delivery by bulk delivering to the school and in this case, they chose not to offer that as an option.
