“Very disappointed with the communication between seller and client !! I’ve been waiting for my order for so many weeks and no one reply to my emails and to my voice mails ! Now I had to send it back. I can not wait to see how long it will take for an exchange!”

Thank you for your review Ionica . I can only apologise for the lack of communication you have experienced in respect of your recent order. Over the last weeks of the school holidays and well into September we had experienced a higher than usual spike in orders and visitors to the shop and for that reason, we had been concentrating all of our resources on getting as many orders fulfilled as quickly as possible. Unfortunately, this meant that we were unable to respond to enquiries in the timely manor we aim for. In addition to this, there are certain items such as the items you ordered that are made to order for the schools and again, unfortunately, this can take a great deal longer than the usual turnaround time. We would usually aim to communicate this with our customers when this happens and again, I apologise for this not being the case in this instance.

“Happy with the order but sometimes I have waited 2 and and half weeks after the order was placed to receive it and other times it arrives within a week. It’s great when it arrives quick but an update would be good if stock hasn’t arrived and the order will take over 14 working days to arrive.”

“Only 4 stars because de delivery time was much longer then expected and my parcel was shipped probably because I called them to find about my order which was definitely forgotten! I do recommend to go to their store in Basildon rather than order online!”

“I’m afraid my review isn’t great as it took 4 weeks for my order to arrive. I sent 2 emails which no one ever replied to and when I phoned although helpful I was promised a call back which never came. Even though I was assured the products were in stock they didn’t arrive and when I phoned again they hadn’t been sent. That person kindly posted and they arrived the next day but I placed the order on 29th August and products arrived 22nd September! I like to support small business and avoid Amazon etc when I can but in this instance it wasn’t a good experience”

“I only needed a tie and feel the postage was too high. I would have happily waited for it to be dispatched to school (one of my other children’s schools does this) and saved on postage. The tie is fine!”

“The content of the order was ok. But it was very frustrating to not get any updates on the status of the order for two weeks. And in the end it looked like my order was stuck somewhere, because only upon calling Red Oak I got a notificaiton that my order has been shipped.”

“Very bad service . I Left voicemail had a call back inform me extremely busy. I have waited 2 weeks since placing order still not received item and we are going into 3 week term. I have emailed and called no response.”

I am so sorry you are not happy with the service you have received. We have been extremely busy recently but our team are working as quickly as possible to get all orders out. Could you possibly send over your order number please and I will get someone to look into this?

“Love you guys ….. Quick service, great. But I only ordered a tie and was charged the full delivery cost of £5.95. The tie would fit in a standard envelope so I think the cost of delivery for one tie is over the top!”

Hi Kathleen, Thank you for your review, and we are so happy that you love our products :-) We completely understand your point re postage, however £4.95 is just our standard delivery option which we can't change. We like to offer parents other options outside of our standard delivery. We have our physical shop and also come to schools with our pop up shop facility. We are also in the process of setting up a 'collect from store' option which should be live before the end of the year :-)

“Customer service is amazing! Called up with an issue as I realised delivery may come too late to try things on and then get the correct size (daughter isn’t standard age size) and I was given a couple of options to make sure I got the delivery before a certain date. Luckily the uniform arrived before that date and all was perfect, the best uniform quality iv had! Thank you”

“Staff absolutely brilliant and very helpful in the shop. I ordered a skirt 11-12yrs as the shop didn’t have the size to try on in the shop and told they are all in the pop up stalls, not exactly helpful when you go to the shop!. When it arrived it was the same size as the 9-10years I already had which was too short and told it would be 2 inches longer. Been back to the shop again to try the next size but didn’t have them available. Purchased the next size and will have to return again to try it on.”

Thank you for taking the time to place your review and we are very pleased you have found the customer service element of your purchase so positive. I am sorry you seem to have had issues with purchasing your skirt. In order to cope with the increase in customers this time of year, we do have to rely on summer staff who unfortunately, aren't always as up to date with the products as we would like. With so many variants, it is quite a challenging task. Again, due to the time of year, we do also have an extraordinarily high turnover of products which can quite literally go in and out of stock within minutes depending on demand. We do try to keep items (particularly with the more popular sizes/colours/styles etc) as stocked as possible but with thousands of items available at any one time, it is quite an impossible task for us at times.
