“I had one scam call where i was supposedly put on hold whilst playing music, and this one rang 4 times each time the same procedure and messaged. I have now blocked them the others were too expensive or never read the description of my requirement for moving only one piece of furniture inside my home from one room to another.”

“It was good to get an overall view of the services available and prices. But the many many phone calls, texts and emails after are a pain. I made it clear we are not ready to commit yet. But we have a shortlist and will make contact when we are ready. I requested no more calls but still they come.”

“Received a high volume of calls from removal companies immediately after submitting my inquiry. The quotes provided were much higher than we were willing to pay. I'd suggest going to Anyvan for a more competitive set of quotes for removals.”

“My search was for quotes from companies in a specific city. Despite the response heading saying 'see your quotes from X location' there were no quotes from anywhere near that area. As it is a major city I can only conclude this service is funded by companies that pay them, this cost will be passed on to the customer. All the quotes were high. Better to search locally and avoid this model.”

The firms we have available in some postcodes are unfortunately all firms who are based nationwide and work on an online basis and I understand why that doesn’t work for everyone and it is sometimes more beneficial to use someone that has specific local knowledge.
