“Quotes arrived very quickly by email. I hadn’t expected this as I thought it was just a computerised quote. I did decide in the end to go with a local company recommended by a friend. But it was really helpful as I hadn’t a clue about today’s costs.”

“Be aware - firstly, as I had to provide my phone number, as well as getting an email with the quotes on it, so instead of letting me choose and contact them, all the suppliers then phoned ME to tout their business within half an hour. super annoying. Secondly, one of the quotes said it included a free valuation with the survey, but then when I went to the link, it did not include the survey and I had to contact them before accepting it and am still not sure if they will charge extra. So be careful with the price comparisons they may not be right.”

When you get quotes on reallymoving we say that we put you and the firms in contact with each other, so that they can get any information that may not have been included on the form and may impact your quote. However, we can absolutely understand that getting lots of calls is irritating. “Passed my details onto third parties who have non stop emailed, called and text since. Really annoying - please put some rules in place for which other companies you will work with based on their practices.”

When you get a quote on reallymoving, we put you in touch with up to 4 companies, and vice versa, so that you can move forward and compare as quickly as possible, and share any details that might not have been collected on the quote form. However, we can absolutely understand that getting non-stop emails and calls is irritating. “Easy to use, got a number of quotes very quickly (within half an hour). We went with one of the more expensive ones, but was still within our expected price range. Do expect quite a few emails to your inbox though!”

“The site came up while searching Park Home surveys; The site provided 4 links. 3 didn't do park home surveys. 1 had not heard of park homes.”

Hi David, Surveys for park homes are a specialist category, and whilst it was possible some of the surveyors you got quotes for might have been able to help, it's unfortunate that none of them could. We shouldn't be appearing in search for park home surveys, though sometimes this is down to the search engine and beyond our control. We will look into it, thank you for bringing it to our attention.

“unique enquiry ref - 3352672 I found below surveyor Andrew McLaren BSc (Hons) MRICS Chartered Building Surveyor I hired him and he did very highest standard job. His quote was competent and report work was marvellous. He was very cooperative even after delivering report to discuss main points. I highly recommend him for super best quality work. “Completely unhelpful. Beyond being able to provide the departing and arriving addresses, there is no option to supply information on property access (I am in a 3rd-floor walkup) or details of the contents to be moved (beyond being a 2-bedroom flat). I have a piano! Consequently, I have zero trust in the quotes provided. To make matters worse, within seconds of the quote list showing, I was immediately inundated with calls from a variety of body shops in India asking for surveys of home contents via WhatsApp. It was horrifying!”

When you fill in our form, there is a comments or additional information section, where you can provide specific information to add to your quote, e.g specific items or list items you wish to move. This allows our partners to quote on your specific items so you will receive a tailored price. We’re sorry that you received too many responses from our partners. When you get quotes on our site it informs you that your details will be passed on to the firms who quoted you (but absolutely no one else). Most of our users find this helps them get more detailed quotes, answer questions and choose a firm more quickly.
