“The epitome of professional! I had an issue with a back up drive of photos of my children growing up, and having worked with R3 on a different matter they was the first people I contacted. From the get go the communication was constant throughout the recovery process and due a delay in sourcing a replacement drive the process was extended, but this didn't matter as this was all explained and I was reassured that the matter was well in hand. Unfortunately I can't remember the ladies name who helped me at the end process but she was brilliant able to answer any questions I had! I would highly recommend R3 for any data recovery from a single drive to 100s+”

Many thanks for your review Ryan Your "SamGate" was one of the more troublesome drives that took several weeks to find the correct matching donor after the heads crashed and were too damaged to risk using again and required a platter swap. Samsung ST500LM014 Momentus from 2015 2 Platters 4 Heads Stiction approx 50% in (heads damaged & spindle seized) "Tried all sorts of donors, 320GBs, 500GBs and 1TBs of the same and similar family model drives and all incompatible. "donor arrived, appears compatible." Once located it took only 4 days to complete an almost full recovery When Ryan collected a few tonnes of our scrapped donor drives for recycling he mentioned he had a failed hard drive. Although a full recovery was not possible due to one of the platter surfaces being severely scored after a head crash and repeated power cycling. The statistics confirmed that over 90% of the data was recovered undamaged. Folders - 38325 Files - 128279 ( 904.73 Gb) Normal Files - 117441 Problem Files - 10838 Some of the remaining corrupt files separated into the problem folder were also salvageable. R3 Data Recovery is one of the few data recovery labs with the technical capabilities, equipment and dedication to recover such damaged Western Digital SpyGlass series hard disk drives. It is actually a testament to the quality of the 5TB WD50NDZW-11A8JS1 that such a good recovery was achievable under the circumstances. Thank you for your review. “Absolutely Amazing, total data recovery R3 Data recovery performed a far superior job to fields data recovery - recovered 99% of my data (audio files from expensive recording studio sessions) and went truly above and beyond - a single audio file from one of the sessions was labelled as partially corrupt, R3 went back and reattempted a recovery of just that file. They also assisted me with obtaining a refund from fields data recovery for their poor workmanship. "MicroSD card suddenly stops working and content not viewable. Can be detected by multiple devices but I can't go further. " Thank you for the review Horace. The SanDisk MicroSD had become inaccessible after developing bad sectors but was fully recoverable with some time and the data recovery specialist equipment urequired to read the memory banks of NAND Flash memory.
