“The service I received from Andy at R3 Data Recovery was first class. Having thought I had lost the entire contents of my WD external ShareSpace the team were able to recover over 99% of all the data. I will recommend them to anyone I know that ever has a data loss/corruption issue. Hopefully I won't have the need to use them again, but if I did I wouldn't hesitate to call them. Hi Simon Glad you were happy with the recovery, the RAID 5 configuration actually helped save the data because despite 3 of 4 drives being affected by the power problems the WD 2TB drives were sufficiently robust to not fail mechanically. The head crashes / surface damage whilst causing bad sectors was not enough to prevent the drives being read in a few days and so kept the cost of recovery down to the lower end of the initial estimate. Almost all the data was in perfect condition, this is possibly in part also thanks to the fact that less than 20% of the 5.84 TB volume was actually used. The total cost of £640+vat included a new 1TB portable drive for the recovered data and collection and return. Many thanks for the review. Andy R3 Data Recovery Ltd

“After some deliberation and trying to manage without files caused by an external disk "freeze" on me I contacted R3 regarding recovery. Their pick and delivery was very prompt and they recovered all the data/information that I thought was lost. Hi Alan Yes the price we quote is the price we should be able to doa recovery for providing there has been no significant damage to the platters. In your case it was a degraded drive with bad sectors and the budget service of £239+vat at that time included a 1tb portable drive and the collection and return.
