“Tips come off easy”

“it said in description drill bit for stainless steel and we bout around £100 we try to make a small hole in stainless steel post with 2mm thickness only but the drill bit cant make even one hole. in first hole break. then we try another drill it happen again. its the worst drill bit ever we seen. if you buy the cheapest drill bit from screwfix its 10 times better than this one. the worst drill bit ever seen”

“I was expecting a thoroughly precise drill bit from a company who specialises in drill bits. I was deflated when I used the bit you sent. It was an urgent job and I had found it difficult to find a 12 mm flat bit, so I had to use it anyway. The centre point of the bit is way off centre and so the bit causes wobble during drilling, which clearly makes for inaccurate drilling. I had really thought that I had found a solid, reliable tool company as opposed to trawling through Amazon, Ebay etc,. etc.. Despite your competitive prices, I would not be inclined to purchase from you again. Rod Foster”

“Drill bits didn’t come on time when I paid for fast delivery. When I first went to use my new 25mm sds bit, it wouldn’t fit into my drill as the end of the bit was as bent as a banana. Cost me time & money having to leave a job to go buy one from a nearby supplier. I’m far from a moaner, but I’ll not be using these guys again. I thought it was too cheap to be true.”

“Utter rubbish, both the delivery and the product. The wood bits were unusable because they were blunt and I ended up throwing them out. I made a big mistake in not checking the order when they emailed the confirmation and as a consequence I received 2x parcels of some of the drills and not all the sizes I ordered.”

“The wood bits i bought were the worst I've ever bought, unusably blunt and struggling to drill into pine. I highly recommend you don't use uk drills as even Screwfix's, b&q's and toolstation's budget drill sets are considerably better then this rubbish. Mine are now all in the bin.”

“Chinese rubbish would not cut anything not a sharp edge to be seen how to to get a bad reputation after 2 members of your staff had allegedly checked item .now in the bin vote with feet”

“I purchased two 13.5 mm blacksmith drill bits, to do a specific job i.e. To drill through 6 mm mild steel angle iron. Pilot holes where drilled in stages up to 12.5 mm then using a brand new 13.5 mm drill bit this refused to bore through and just got hot, the drill was then sharpened and drilling continued, with extreme difficulty it finally made it through but not without chipping some of the flutes off. So in short these drill bits are not fit for purpose!!!!”

“Drill bits lose cutting edge as soon as they touch steel. Went through 10, 13 mm drills drilling one hole. That was after using 10 5mm drills to pilot the steel first. Absolute waste of money.”

“Good prices & good service. After trying several bits these are the worst ever as they cannot maintain the hole size. Best I got was 8 holes before bit was wasted.”

“Put in an order for drills, but when they arrive there were 3 drill bits missing out of one box, may say they are competitive but no good if you don’t get the order you paid for !!!!”

“I used the 14.5mm drill to open up a 14mm hole. The drill damaged its flutes without any apparent work being done with the tip cutting edges. Substituted it with an old Dormer 9/16" drill, no problem. To be fair, this is the first failure of a UK Drills product bought by me.”
